Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 5.2 for me . Not seen one of these in a while.

I'm on holiday in NW Spain. The puppy was a star, taking the long journey in her cute little stride. The weather's being it's usual changeable self - there's mist over the hills atm but the sun's already warming things up. Not much planned today. I'm going to sit on the terrace and relaaaaax.
Congratulations on your HS. What a lovely start to your holiday. Very impressed your dog coped with such a long journey. Have a fabulous time in Spain.

Morning all, 4.3 here. Off to do the food shop in a mo, to escape the traffic all leaving Wilderness festival, they won’t be awake yet, it went on til 3am last night. I must say, we heard very little, and nothing overnight. They’re good about hiding the late night stage in a small valley, so the sound doesn’t escape, and the wind did us a favour apart from yesterday afternoon, when it veered round to the South and I could hear every word of the songs.

Morning all. 5.9 when i woke up, was 5.3 when i injected for breakfast, ate some porridge and its suddenly 2.9 dropping fast! That can't be right, porridge never does that and i certainly don't feel it! I'll hold my nerve, i've noticed the last couple of days that the sensor says i'm dropping fast then suddenly changes its mind to being a bit higher and steady. Its the last 48ish hours of it.

Hubby is back at work today. I'm off to see mum this morning then to pick up a few things from Lidl and get my prescription. I can't get the holiday washing done today as rain is forecast all day, although we did some while away so there isn't lots. Tomorrow the weather will be better again.

@Bloden congrats on the HS and have a lovely holiday in Spain.

Actually, thinking of Spain, has anyone heard from @Elenka_HM? I've noticed she's not been on the thread for a while.

Have a good day everyone.

Level 3.9 and steady. I'll hold on for a few minutes, let the porridge do its work, if not a sip of juice will sort it.

Wet & windy here but, not stormy, yet! 05:20 BS 8.8 after loo; I always wake up bursting these days! 🙄 Settled down to 07:13 BS 8.1 for breakfast.

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Yesterday was one of those almost write off days & was difficult NOT to abuse insulin too much: BS was inexplicably high all day & staying high; using more NR & when 80 for dinner wasn’t enough & had to correct, I’ve decided to up the basal a bit today! See if that helps or is it one of those blips that keep happening from time to time since I hit the menopause? I’m thinking about how much Tresiba later: 51 or 52; is it the cooler weather? Who knows but, yesterday was FRUSTRATING! 😡 Not QUITE that, as I didn’t get mad, but, there’s no Grumpy emoji! Or maybe a Tearing My Hair Out emoji!? o_O

Good morning all. 5.1 when I woke at 7.15, got up, loo, went downstairs, 4.9, injected and I was 4.1! Breakfast straight away, now sitting at 4.5. Reverse foot on the floor!

It's raining quite heavily at the moment, Floris has come to visit. Up to 50 MPH gusts from 9am up to early evening. Not leaving the house today, I'm going to make ratatouille and bottle some tomatoes.

Congratulations @Bloden on your HS and puppy being a good girl on the long journey to Spain. Enjoy.

Have a Happy Morning and if you live up north, especially Scotland, batten down the hatches!

I was just thinking about her just yesterday, Im sure she's just enjoying life. @Gwynn and @TinaD are also MIA, hope all is well.

Morning all
Bit of a chilly start here. It's going to be a good day for me, not doing anything important at all but have decided that at least. Feeling good in myself. Have been watching a lot of tidy your life up in 7 days on BBC I Player and have been inspired to sort out my room ie underbed storage boxs and sticky hooks. That way I can sort out the c**p under my bed, some of my clothes and other bits and bobs. Good old Ebay so I don't have go out (others are available).
Today's Bg is wait for it, I'm proud to announce that today I join the hallowed club of
5.2
You all have a good day, be happy in what ever you do. Take care especially if you are on your own

Good morning - 10.0

Have a great day everyone.

Its been a while for both of them. Lets hope everything is ok.

I echo the thoughts regarding absent forumites. Hope they’re all muddling through ok and will return soon.

5.9

Plans this week up in the air a bit as another totally unexpected funeral tomorrow. Cousin. Same age as mum but been ill for years (lupus and then Parkinson’s) so both sad but also a relief. Question now is how quickly her husband (also a cousin but from a different branch of the family and more closely related as his grandpa and mum’s dad were brothers) who’s also been ill for years (myriad of heart issues plus now the start of dementia) will deteriorate.

Am supposed to be seeing Singin’ in the Rain tomorrow late afternoon into the early evening at an outdoor cinema. Will try my best to make it as it is the best film ever made and will bring a smile to my face.

Well done @Bloden & @gail2 on the HS's.
Am supposed to be seeing Singin’ in the Rain tomorrow late afternoon into the early evening at an outdoor cinema.
Let's hope you too won't be singing along in the rain. :D
A 5.8 for me today. Wet and windy and more of the same. :(

Stay safe and well everybody.

Dez

8.3 surprised so high but I had cottage pie last night ( Charlie Bigham reduced in Tesco) had it with fresh runner beans and tomatoes. Having halibut courgettes onion and green beans today so may be better tomorrow.
Have had raspberry yoghurt and chia seeds for breakfast.

Morning 6.2 today

Congrats on the HS @Bloden & @gail2, as others have pisted
I also often think of our forum friends that are absent, hope they are all OK :care:
we should ALL even if we don’t feel like posting just post a Hi it’s me ‘I’m ok” but I’m not posting ATM

I just checked in with my bedside Alexa, she tells me here In Northampton we shan’t be singing in the rain today

I’m off to work shortly and at some point today expecting a GP phone consultation, (meds review with the Diabetic DR) at a unknown time, I usually speak to him more than my own GP, who himself if anything is to do with my Diabetes refers me to this other GP (if that makes sense)

Anyway another slight lay in / later wake up for me as Mrs @goodybags is not back at work for another week.

Happy Monday everyone
TC

Morning

5.7 this morning, 6.4 yesterday but didn’t have any internet yesterday.

Weather was nice when we arrived in Saturday, yesterday a couple of showers but kids got down on the beach, today is currently a bit cloudy, might get a shower later.

Congratulations to @Bloden and @gail2 on today’s HS, and to anyone I have missed over the last couple of days.
