Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. An even happier-than-usual 5.2 for me this grey morning...

Have a great day everyone, and stay safe and well.

Thank you everyone for your support and encouragement. I know I will gradually recuperate, get stronger and be able to do more and that I just have to give myself time. If only the diabetic tech would just play nicely and support me the way you all do!

Well... here we are - 12.8 due no doubt to the cup of sugary tea hubby insisted I drink at 3 am when I was 2.1.

Yes I know all the theory of how much to inject etc. except that it's 12+ years since I've had to practice it on a regular basis.

I'm actually quite angry at the way Ypsopump have left me with a useless pump and no instructions as to what to do with it whilst it's screeching and alarming so it's impossible to wear it. So sorry everyone, I am usually far from being an angry person!

BTW I actually quite like ironing! I also don't mind window cleaning since I found the method of only using a wet and a dry cloth.
I don’t mind ironing, I’m half way through at the moment, stopped for lunch. Lots of linen today, shirts, dresses, trousers! And a tablecloth! I watch recorded rubbish ( according to Bri).

I use a bucket of soapy water and a cloth to scrub, then wipe down the glass with a squeegee.

I hate ironing though!

7.5 After a low alarm some hours earlier. It's a cloudy day threatening rain later. A little cooler than yesterday.

We enjoyed a couple of bowls of Soup/Stew last night, taking 6u insulin instead the usual 9u; having 3 slices of keto white bread & butter instead of wholemeal. My readings were 8.5 up from 6 two hours after.

We are going up to see the MiL and BiL to watch the footy in a little while, hopefully the Lionesses can do us proud again. Pity the, over paid, men can't do the same!

We don't own an iron anymore throwing it out about 15 years ago. I remember my mum ironing, but I never could see the point, so refrained ever since.

Congratulations @Barrowon today's HS!

I only clean the insides of the window's when I can't see out anymore. The outsides are cleaned every month by the window cleaner.

4.8 this morning about to make a start on taking the kitchen to pieces, no idea where to put everything were going to give the old cooker and fridge freezer to a charity just need to phone round tomorrow, hoping to get them picked up as the new ones are coming Tuesday we've put the kitchen units and doors on the market place free again hoping someone will want them or its a lot of trips to the tip.

Bit late today but it was a 6.3 on another sunless Berkshire morning, and there's been no change in the weather since. 6.3 is another average after a 7.0 (what?) first time and a 5.5 on my other hand when I double-checked.. Beginning to wonder if I have a tub of iffy strips.

Congratulations @Barrowman on your HS this morning

Enjoy what's left of the day.

I use a bucket of soapy water, cloth and a window vacuum but our windows are large and the vacuum often runs out of charge halfway through so it goes on charge then takes longer to do them. I try and do inside and out, front and back on the same day to get it over and done with, but you can guarantee the next day there is usually a large pigeon shape on the living room window where the blooming thing has flown into it.

Sorry typo should read... Congratulations @Barrowman on this mornings HS.

Me too! Window cleaning is Mr Eggy’s job.
I clean the inside except for the kitchen window which I can't reach. Hubby does that plus the outside.

Good evening. Very late on parade. 7.3 this morning. Quite surprised as I only had one rich tea biscuit for dinner. Couldn't face a meal. Only eating so I can take tablets. Skipped lunch today. Had a small plate of salad with a few slices of turkey this evening which I couldn't finish. Still feeling very nauseated. The smell of any food makes me heave. Still no energy even after a full night's sleep and dozing for several hours during the day. Think I will contact the doctor if I feel the same tomorrow.

Congratulations on your HS @Barrowman

Hope the tablets help your hubby @Pam123 and you get your new kitchen sorted soon.

Sorry to hear they haven't sorted your pump out @PattiEvans

Congratulations to the Lionesses on their victory. Well done ladies'!

Take care everyone xx
