It was 33 when I walked to my mum’s at lunchtime as well. It’s showing 33 on the thermometer right now. It is a trifle warm.

Does make you wonder sometimes.Do we even live in the same country? This is now!
Its been awful. I like a bit of warmth and sunshine but i'm struggling now. Its taking too long to get to sleep as its so hot at night.. I don’t know how you’re all managing. Doesn’t help that I’m still menopausal! 😳 #sweatybetty
Better than a warm trifle I suppose. It’s showing 33 on the thermometer right now. It is a trifle warm.
You and me both!I wish I had started on 1 tablet!
But you live in Eggyland, a country that has Humpty Dumpty as its spiritual leader, insists that all offspring return to the parental bosom frequently with a mission to share the joy of raising the future generations, mandates that folks over a certain age (we’ll say 50!) spend leisure time yomping up hills for “fun” and is populated by folks with weird habits such as naming their everyday conveyance!Do we even live in the same country? This is now!
What’s your weight at now and how much more are you hoping to drop?currently I don’t seem to be loosing anymore weight, think I need more exercise and activity to help both with weight & TIR
How’s things going with the running? Are you contemplating doing another half marathon any time?Morning
3.3 after another very sticky night with hardly any sleep, although fresher outside inside the house is still like an oven but hopefully the cooler air will make it ways inside soon. At least it will be a nice temperature for going out with the running group tonight.
Running going well, except the past few times due to the heat, I was all signed up for the Royal Parks 1/2 in October, but my granddaughter is being christened that day so I will have to defer, they had already changed the date of the christening around me and hubby as we were on holiday for the date they had in September. How’s things going with the running? A ratch is a good old look through something. Obviously just a northern word.@eggyg What’s a “ratch”? Is it a local delicacy you’re having for lunch with a side of wild haggis perhaps?![]()
Maybe the surprise is he will do it alongside you!Running going well, except the past few times due to the heat, I was all signed up for the Royal Parks 1/2 in October, but my granddaughter is being christened that day so I will have to defer, they had already changed the date of the christening around me and hubby as we were on holiday for the date they had I. Not sure about doing the London Landmarks next year as it will be my 40th wedding anniversary and you never know hubby might be planning a surprise,

It’s the wrong season for haggis Colin, I thought you’d know that, have I taught you nothing over the years?
Think we’ll have the tripe with a side of chunky chips and a pickled egg. We’ll remove our flat caps and tether the whippets outside as the cafe we’re going to is quite upmarket, they’ve done away with the sawdust. They’ve replace it with that new fangled Lino stuff. I don’t know what the world is coming to. 😉
Just a tad!Hold on a mo! You’re “Northern”?![]()
