Group 7-day waking average?

. I don’t know how you’re all managing. Doesn’t help that I’m still menopausal! 😳 #sweatybetty
Its been awful. I like a bit of warmth and sunshine but i'm struggling now. Its taking too long to get to sleep as its so hot at night.

Morning and a 6.5 for me and fresher this morning and much more pleasant though yesterday temperature had noticeably dropped.
Nice day in Cheshire today so local and not too much driving.
Had a Stir fry last night and kept levels within range and currently feasting on early episodes of Line of Duty which somehow we had missed and it is truly excellent and gripping.
Wife got me pinch and punch yesterday as I completely forgot not that it makes any difference as she always wins.
Interesting listening to the Radio yesterday as the surgeon who did a routine operation to remove a lesion from my wife’s face was on.
Apparently she did a lot of the operations following the Manchester bombing and they had the parents of one of the victims on and it was both very sad and inspiring. The incident affected the area very badly and is very often covered by the local news so it is particularly poignant.
I knew she was a top Surgeon but did not realise what a significant part she had played following the arena bombing.
Anyway please enjoy your day and hope you are all sleeping much more comfortably.

Morning, a 7.1 for me after another sticky night. This morning feels a bit cooler thankfully. Just got back from the beach with the dog, we didn't go out at all yesterday so she was full of beans this morning!

Morning 6.9 today

My TIR has taken a bit of a tumble over last few days
currently it’s dropped to (over last 7 days) to 76%
last 90 days it’s still showing as 83%
whereas on 20/5 it was 95%

currently I don’t seem to be loosing anymore weight, think I need more exercise and activity to help both with weight & TIR

Happy Hump Day
TC

Do we even live in the same country? This is now!
But you live in Eggyland, a country that has Humpty Dumpty as its spiritual leader, insists that all offspring return to the parental bosom frequently with a mission to share the joy of raising the future generations, mandates that folks over a certain age (we’ll say 50!) spend leisure time yomping up hills for “fun” and is populated by folks with weird habits such as naming their everyday conveyance!

(P. S. Your garden looks great even in the dank weather!)

What’s your weight at now and how much more are you hoping to drop?

I’ve found that my percentage body fat is falling nicely but my weight loss isn’t. Clearly that’s going to happen as I am pushing myself at the gym and starting to rebuild muscle. Could your body composition be changing and that being reflected through minimal weight loss registering on the scales?

Morning

3.3 after another very sticky night with hardly any sleep, although fresher outside inside the house is still like an oven but hopefully the cooler air will make it ways inside soon. At least it will be a nice temperature for going out with the running group tonight.

5.8

Awfully sticky night last night but noticeably fresher today thankfully.
Gym, volunteering at the museum and then opera this evening. Today it’s Semele at the Royal Opera House.

Not seen it before, but it’s a new production anyway, and I do tend to struggle somewhat with Handel and the endless repetition that is the baroque style but this stars Pretty Yende and she most certainly is a star and I love being at the Opera House so I’m looking forward to it.

Dragging my friend Paul along with me as we share similar likes and dislikes and it’s fun comparing notes.

Good morning all. 5.6. Think I was that yesterday too. At least I’m consistent.

Had a better night’s sleep as the house has cooled down considerably, it never stopped raining yesterday, absolutely lashing down and the highest temperature recorded was 16.5. It’s dry this morning, at least, but fresh, I don’t mind fresh. Picking up a friend at 11and we’re going for a run out to Penrith. Loads of cafes and independent shops including a bookshop and antique shops, but most excitingly, posh charity shops. We both like a ratch, Ann for clothes, and me too sometimes, but mostly china and books for me. It’s only 15 minutes up the M6 and we’ll come home via the A6 and pop into a garden centre. She’s very lonely since her husband died last year, one child, no grandchildren and her siblings died many years ago. So hopefully this will be a nice change for us both.

Have a wonderful Wednesday and hope you all get relief from the heatwave.( What heatwave?). 😉

How’s things going with the running? Are you contemplating doing another half marathon any time?

@eggyg What’s a “ratch”? Is it a local delicacy you’re having for lunch with a side of wild haggis perhaps?

Running going well, except the past few times due to the heat, I was all signed up for the Royal Parks 1/2 in October, but my granddaughter is being christened that day so I will have to defer, they had already changed the date of the christening around me and hubby as we were on holiday for the date they had in September.

Not sure about doing the London Landmarks next year as it will be my 40th wedding anniversary and you never know hubby might be planning a surprise,

A ratch is a good old look through something. Obviously just a northern word.
It’s the wrong season for haggis Colin, I thought you’d know that, have I taught you nothing over the years? o_O
Think we’ll have the tripe with a side of chunky chips and a pickled egg. We’ll remove our flat caps and tether the whippets outside as the cafe we’re going to is quite upmarket, they’ve done away with the sawdust. They’ve replace it with that new fangled Lino stuff. I don’t know what the world is coming to. 😉

Maybe the surprise is he will do it alongside you!
