Group 7-day waking average?

Morning everyone. It’s 4.7 for me today after a very hot sticky night.

Have a good day everyone and stay safe.

Morning everyone 6.4 for me
I think we are going to get the heat today, wasn’t very nice yesterday. At my hospital volunteering, very hot in the ward, at least I do it for three hours poor staff for twelve and a half hours, great team to work with. Afternoon will just relax and take it easy, everyone take care with this heat .

7yo is a bit poorly with a sore throat but insisted on coming to school because she is convinced it will finally be her turn to be 'star of the week', which they give out on Thursdays. I really hope it is her turn as she has been waiting all year and there are only three weeks of term left, but of course you never know what will happen with these things. She did a cracking bit of writing last week so I have my fingers crossed for her
I hope she does get star of the week.

its a 5.2 this morning thought I had better post before we go out today had to wait in for a parcel so starting late today more work in the garden but not until later on in the day
Congrats on the HS @Pam123

😳 Well! A bit embarrassing to have to post this but, I’ve made a mistake & need to correct it! In thinking about “Feng Shui” earlier I decided to google mirrors in front of the front door & it is actually the wrong way round: It’s BAD LUCK to put a mirror opposite the front door as it reflects positive energy from entering a house! 😳 You’re suppose to put mirrors on adjacent walls, 90 degrees, to the front door to encourage positive energy to come into the house!

But, mum put a mirror there for many years & I took it down as it was directly behind my back & hitting my head when I would stand there slouching over the radiator on the wall while waiting for lifts to pick me up: I’d open the inner porch door & see through the glass front door for the car to pull up to the front parking drive/area!

But, parents are just as flawed in some ways to any other human, something we children all learn as we grow up, & mum was wrong about that. But, she DID spend many times praying & asking on our behalf for mercy & blessings for her family to the “Goddess of Mercy”!

Just found that out about mirrors & since I’d already posted it earlier, I have to correct it! 😳

I never really believed in “Feng Shui”, anyway but, some do, not just Orientals, & the placements of objects & furniture around the house is important to them!

I spent a rather fascinating time reading the google results about mirrors, mainly, & placements of other objects & furniture according to the Chinese “Feng Shui” & the Indian “Vastu Shastra”.

almost to late for today BS which was 4.1 yesterday 4.8 don't know where the time goes, still busy in the garden changing a few things round, and spent most of the last 2 days looking for plants to hide the other neighbours boundary which is a complete eyesore, the woman is a complete bitch, her hubby is ok but scared of her long story will explain later, anyway has anyone had a plant/shrub called Black Lace ? I am hoping ive picked the right one to do the job. I need it to cover approx 6ft by 6ft. will post more about it tomorrow. sorry for the little rant

Congratulations @gail2 on your HS today
I think the black ornamental elder is the plant. There is a variety called black lace and it grows to a reasonable size shrub. Fortunately not as vigorous as the regular elder.Screenshot_20250619_144603_Google.jpg

Good afternoon. Been out in the garden before the heat is unbearable. 8.2 this morning. Probably due to Indian snack followed by artisan frozen raspberry yoghurt in a cone I ate at the county show yesterday. It was delicious though.
Caught a bit of sun yesterday but didn't burn so slathered on the moisturiser last night.

Congratulations on your HS @Pam123
@ColinUK your heart monitor definitely looks like a fidget spinner :D

Heading back into the garden when it cools down a bit. Commiserations to anyone who has to work in this heat without any air conditioning .
Everyone take care and keep well hydrated.

the leaves look the same, there is no flowers on it, just checked the label it says sambucas black lace
I bought one during lockdown, but then we had a really hot summer and a hosepipe ban, and the poor thing died.

@Elenka_HM What lovely news! And just in time for Pride!
Exactly! And that was the day we decided to tell our group of common friends, as we were all there. Didn't get the big reaction we expected as they were all very distracted, but at least we got to enjoy the rest of the event without having to be subtle around our mates :D
