Group 7-day waking average?

Morning and a 3.9 after a similar level before bed and taking some Dextrose and a biscuit which put me high and a 2u correction dose at 2am which brought me low again.
Nice day yesterday on Wirral and decided due to possible storms I may go back there today rather than my original plan to go to North Wales.
Not sure if anyone else caught PMQs yesterday before the Chancellors Spending statement but an MP who has Type 1 asked a question about a National Screening Programme for Type 1 in Children.
Ended up not going to local Council Meeting last night as thought t much nicer enjoying evening sunshine in garden rather than cramming into a hot Town Hall. You can see my commitment to local democracy 🙂
Well commit yourselves to having a good day.

Morning all. Drum roll please. 5.2! Woo hoo! Haven’t had one of those for yonks!

Lovely day yesterday with the little ones, spent most of the day in the garden and some of it down the river playing Pooh sticks and waving at the choo choos. The west coast main line runs right past so there’s always a few. Three yesterday in about 20 minutes. We’ve done this with all our kids and all our grandchildren, except Rocco as he can’t walk yet, but his time will come. It’s only a few minutes walk from home. Saying that I was glad to get rid of them, we were shattered! Looking like another fab day, Mr Eggy has a 10am haircut and I’ve an appointment with a pile of ironing, then I think we’ll have lunch in the garden and get the loungers out for the first time this year.

Have a smashing sunny day.

05:29 BS 4.1 but, no red overnight on the graph. Woke hungry so, straight away to cook my breakfast mushroom omelette & I dinged a homemade, not by me, chicken & vegetable broth while it was cooking: got omelettes down pat for sometime now; initial full heat until I see the edges starting ti cook then, turn it down to slowly cook all the way to the top! No more moving it around as I did before & it all slides out almost like a frittata & it’s effortless; just needs patience! BS was in the 6’s by the time I sat down to eat with just a teeny tiny bit of red on the graph while I was cooking but, obviously started rising with DP.

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Now going to watch last night’s final leg of RATW. I wonder who won it?😱

A bit unclear yesterday given my two little walks from the car & back at the sheltered accommodations: the second of which really turned my legs to jelly & steaming again trying to breathe; the activity is somehow improving things a bit which I notice when I’m back in bed half reclining when not moving about! I was exhausted after getting back yesterday so, didn’t notice it at first but, by today I’m definitely noticing an improvement! 😱

In the middle of cooking I decided to see what damage has been done to weight & it’s currently, on an empty pre-breakfast stomach, 92.5 kilos. So, work to be done again to shift it. The weather doesn’t show any signs of changing & the asthma/hay fever combo will continue so, a long term solution is definitely NOT to stay in bed not moving much but, to force myself up, moving around & take lots of “Gasping Stops” in between doing the normal stuff that needs to be done! I still spend most of my time wheezing but, when I AM sitting at rest, as it were, I’m definitely breathing easier! So that’s it: got to keep moving around gasping, panting & wheezing as it may be; not moving in bed doesn’t improve things & movement actually helps! A Lightbulb emoji! It looks to be a damp, cloud covered summer this year & there’s loads of tree pollen about so, I just have to, literally, suck it up & now have a plan of action on how to deal with it. :D

Congrats on the HS @eggyg.

Morning all. A much better 5.3 for me today. Yesterday i managed to stay in range for most of the day although a correction was needed just before bed as it started to creep up a bit.

Nothing planned for today apart from mowing the lawn this morning. Rain/thunder is due around mid afternoon. Mind you, they said yesterday would be 25° and sunny but here it felt cooler and more cloudy so we'll see. Its supposed to be bright sunshine now and its not, its thick cloud and very windy.

Morning all, 5.8 here. Off to the tip, sorry, recycling centre this morning, with accumulated junk and overflow green waste, I tackled daughter’s garden for her yesterday. Just in case that’s not exciting enough, will come back via garden centre to look for something for our wall, where our climbing rose turned up its toes last year.

Morning all. 🙂 5.4 here.

Soooo, I coming off the Omnipod 5 HCL. I gave it a go but it's not for me. Just waiting to hear back from the DSN as to what happens next.

The weather's bonkers atm. Sunny yesterday, tipping it down this morning. Lovely to see the kids in the sunshine @eggyg. What a lovely family tradition. 🙂

5.9 on a bright and sunny Berkshire morning, though it's not going to last if the forecast is right. There's a 50-50 chance it might rain later, too.

My wife and SIL arrived safely in Boston yesterday and are spending a few days there before pushing on to their cousin's place in Palmyra, going by train. They decided to go that way so that they'll see more of the country than they would by flying.

Usual Thursday swim later, a bit of grocery shopping, and cut the grass front and back. Maybe some garden maintenance, too, although as there are three Brits in action in the tennis this afternoon maybe not..

Congrats on your HS @eggyg

Whatever your plans, have a great day.

Well done @eggyg on your Hs. I missed it by a mile with 5.9 today. 🙂

Thundery showers forecast for today so no walkies for me today. :(

Excellent! Nick

Morning everyone. A happy 4.7 for me today.

Have a great day everyone and stay well.

5.0 for me

Good morning folks. 9 today after a celebration birthday dinner llast night for my SiL. Indian food followed by a small slice of cake then coffee with Baileys. Very nice but for special occasions only.

Today not so good. My eyesight has been getting much worse lately. So much so I haven't done much socialising recently.
Had eyes tested again this morning. Cataracts in both eyes deteriorated so much I cannot drive till the operation is done. Urgent referral made by the optician today. Likely timescale is approx 3 months. Luckily hubby drove me into town for appointment.

On the plus side no other issues seen and at least I can get out in the garden. Will need hubby's help with my bees but I am ordering a strong handheld magnifying glass to do hive Inspections.

Congratulations on your HS @eggyg Your grandchildren are adorable.
Sorry to hear you are suffering with your asthma and hay-fever @Lanny and hope you can get some relief soon.

The sun is out so back in the garden today. I have to find the pedometer I dropped yesterday. I wonder what step count it recorded. Take care everyone x

Morning all - misty and grey today. Some sun forecast for later. Pity anyone on holiday in Cornwall.

6.0 first thing, dropped slightly to 5.6 within a few minutes. What I am seeing consistently these days is a flat line overnight which is very pleasing. I only ate half my jacket potato last night and about half my chicken casserole due to my rhinitis playing up, nose runs to the stage where I can't breathe enough to eat. However I did eat 7 Maltesers later in the evening. Apart from a regular hypo late afternoon/early evening which I need to get rid of, I am cautiously very pleased with the Ypsopump/Libre 3+ HCL which has ironed out a lot of spikes.

@Bloden I am sorry to hear that the Omnipod 5 HCL hasn't worked for you either. We both pinned high hopes on it and were so disappointed. This morning I got an email saying they were sending my order for 3 months worth of pods. I rang and told them I was no longer using it and obviously not to send any pods. I told them if they wanted feedback that I had been disappointed and felt that whoever had written the algorithm may have been good at computer programming but had poor understanding of diabetes. I hope your team will offer you something else.

On a cheerful note, what diverse stuff we all learn in this thread! Including screenshots!

Congratulations @eggyg on your HS. Didn't know whether to give you a :star:for it, or a <3for adorable pics of grandkids!

Off for a session on the sunbed and then home to iron things I want to pack for my hols.

Have a good day everyone.

PS We are re-watching old episodes of RATW... not only is the Welsh lad in the current series T1 but there's another T1 in Series 2. Nothing is made of it apart from informing us... no hypo dramas or loss of insulin or insulin going off in steamy temps.
