Group 7-day waking average?

Morning and a 6.1 but my meter jumping all over the place and a couple of low readings so have had slice of toast after walking dogs as did feel I was low.
Nice day yesterday but went home for lunch and very local today with my third and final webinar so hope the dogs don’t bark.
Stayed within range overnight and another good nights sleep but raining outside so pleased to be back inside.
Anyway looks like am first up so will go for an hour or so lie down after my cup of tea.

Good morning everyone. I have been so distracted by pain and I cannot get the NHS to switch on and help me.

BG 5.6 which is good considering...

Today a sort of shuffle out to get some things, if I can cope with the pain

Have a great day today whatever you are doing

Morning all. 9.2 after another night of spiking to 16!! I was in the 4s when i went to bed to read so i had a teaspoonful of peanut butter. When i was ready to put the light out it had gone up into the 6s which is ok for me to sleep at. The alarm went off when it hit 10 but i wasn't concerned until i woke up sweating, scanned and saw 16 rising, finger prick confirmed. I really don't know whats going on. Everything is different about the two nights. No similarities apart from the spikes. I thought DP but i don't go that high usually with it.

Morning all. I’m sharing the 6.1 step with my fellow 3cer @Wendal.

Up early for no reason other than I’ve slept solid for 6hrs 23mins, that’s good for me. I feel quite refreshed so pointless staying in bed, I’ll just sit and look out of the window and watch the birds. I’ve got my camera ready as for the last two days we’ve had a juvenile woodpecker come down onto the feeder right outside my French windows. It stays for a while, chasing all the other birds away.

Had another great appointment at the GP surgery yesterday where I saw a Lesser Spotted Doctor for the first time since Covid at least. She had obviously given my file a once over, and listened intently to my woes. She was shocked that I’d been left hanging, again, slipped the net, again. Horrified that I hadn’t had any follow up to my bowel obstruction in 2020. When I mentioned going privately for an MRI she, quite vehemently, said “absolutely not!” She’s promised she will get me an urgent appointment with a “ specialist”, not sure who that’ll be as I seemed to have gone through them all these last three years. She said she was going to do it “now”. Fingers crossed she’s as good as her word.
Maybe that’s why I’ve slept well.

@Gwynn I’m assuming it’s your hip bothering you, I highly recommend, if you can afford it, going to an osteopath whilst you’re waiting for the NHS to wake up. If you haven’t tried it yet, alternate hot /cold on the affected part, always finishing with cold. A TENS machine can be a help too. I hope you get sorted soon.

Have a good day folks, it’s supposed to get dryer and warmer up here. Thank goodness, it’s been very wet, but it’s what we all wanted, wasn’t it? Be careful what you wish for!

Morning all. 🙂 6.4 here.

Things are slowly winding down here in adult education. Just the one class this evening, but I need to plan a couple of classes before then. It’s raining. It’ll more than likely be sunny, windy, warm, cold and dry as well today - four seasons in one day!

Morning all, 5.3 here, Having not had a sensor failure for years until last week when one wouldn’t work after the hour warm up, its replacement fell off last night! I hope they’re not like buses and come in threes.

Good morning 6.0 today

Have a Terrific Tuesday everyone :D

Morning all. Well it seems like the overnight 5u correction worked as i woke to 5.2. The only reason for the spike to 15 i'm thinking is the hypo around 9pm plus the treatments. It took a long time to go back up then dropped again into the 4s as i went to bed. I was going to read while monitoring but must have fell straight to sleep.

This morning i need to do a trip to Lidl for mum, pick up the rest of my prescription from last week then go up and see mum. After that, home to potter. No rain forecast today here, cloudy and 18°.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning folks.
Well what a miserable weekend that was. It rained on and off and the grass is a quagmire! It still is this morning. Haven't needed to water the potted shrubs and plants.

I didn't get up to much really, did some sorting of clothes to take to Charity, that was cathartic and more room in the wardrobes now to fill following on my next retail therapy spree🙂 Well a gal has to have new clothes to replace the old doesnt she eh? Then ploughed thru a load of paperwork that needed shredding following which I caught up on a pile of ironing, glad that's done!

I've run short of testing strips so I haven't posted my bgs as frequent, but today I awoke to an 8.5 which is better than the 9's my meter has been churning out of late.

Hope you're all OK and keeping as well as you can my friends.
Take care.
WL

Edited. Well would you believe it, since posting earlier ~ a golden orb is now shining brightly in the sky ~ washing machine has almost finished its first load!!:D

Morning everyone. Another nice sunny but breezy day here and along with a happy 4.8 we are off to a good start.

Have a great day everyone and stay well.

Morning, 5.5 for me.

I've had an influx of book donations from parents over the last few days. This is lovely of them, however I wish they would think a little more carefully about what they're donating. I spent 7 weeks over the summer working 10 hour days to ensure our library stock is completely relevant, suitable and up to date. I also know that parents often give donations to me because they can't find a charity to take them. Having to go through bags of very old, battered and unsuitable books - sometimes interspersed with random toys and stationery - is a little depressing and not the best use of my time. I feel so ungrateful saying that, but then I've just put my hands in a bag of mouldy revision guides from 2016...!

I hope your Tuesdays are more mould-free than mine has been so far!
