Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all and 6.5 for me.

Finished the gammon off with a salad last night
Very nice indeed, as was the simnel cake although terribly high in carbs.

Gig tonight in Leeds with Spear of Destiny. Should be a good in despite being midweek it's pretty much sold out.

Have a good day everyone.

5.6 for me on a rather grey and wet Berkshire morning, with the rest of the day forecast to be the same. Just as well I'm going to be spending the day indoors on decorating duty.

Congratulations to our HS threesome @eggyg , @Wendal and @ColinUK

I was going to wish everyone a happy St George's Day but apparently, although it's usually celebrated on April 23rd each year, the Church of England has put back the date to Monday April 28th as no saint’s day can take place in the week before or after Easter (https://metro.co.uk/2025/04/23/chur...on-reveals-st-georges-day-not-today-22955781/)

Hope your weather is better than ours and hasn't affected your plans for the day.

7.2 this morning. But very flat graph overnight, with no jump up this morning which is nice. I must say the Dexcom apps (Clarity, Follow and Dexcom7) are really excellent to track what’s going on. I think much better than FSL in my opinion. Off to my clinic this morning …

Nick

Morning everyone. A grey day here today but a happy 5.3 earlier after going to bed on a 11.2 last night.

Have a great day everyone and stay well.

Spent a bit of time yesterday trying to get my keyboard to talk to a separate sound module. Got them to talk but I wasn't part of the conversation and I couldn't steer to the topic I wanted! At the momentmI have no idea how to force the subject.

Have you tried Korgforums.com? They have a section for the arranger keyboards .

Morning all. 4.8 after a lovely meal out last night which was bolussed for ok but tbe walk uphull after caught me out and i dropped to 2.9 so needed a chocolate hobnob. Had a rise in the night but it dropped back to range without help.

Today we're walking the seafront, as long as my foot doesn't hurt too much, we'll probably have lots of stops though.

Cpngrats to @eggyg, @Wendal and @ColinUK on the HS

Well I was going to join the happy trio on the 5.2 step this morning (Congrats to you guys) but I woke up a minute or two early so I am sitting on the step below. My result was engineered though. Had a late evening meal of steak and salad and needed a correction for protein release just after 3am when my high alarm went off at 8.1 with an upward sloping arrow so jabbed 2.5 units (normally I only use 2u for an 8.1 but I gave it an extra half unit for the arrow) and went straight back to sleep. Then the low alarm went off at 5.15am on 4.4 but I decided that my liver would bring me up at that time of day and I didn't need any JBs, which was probably a slightly dodgy call but sure enough, my trusty liver didn't let me down and I came back up to 5.1.
Delighted to report I had a unicorn day yesterday. I have been really struggling with my levels and diet recently, so that was a very welcome boost to my moral and even more so with my overnight triumph last night. I do find it quite amazing that I can wake up from the depths of sleep due to an alarm going off, make off the cuff really coherent decisions about quite complex issues, action them and be back to sleep literally within minutes. In fact I think I function better like this than when I am fully awake and have more time to think and dither! 🙄

Morning all.
6.0 for me today. Back to proper school complete with children. It's been lovely catching up with a few of them this morning and it's been fairly quiet so far. I've been worried about behaviour from our lively year 11s, but just had the headteacher come in to tell me she will support with reminders and expectations, which is nice as I don't usually get much back-up.
Only 5 weeks until half term.

I had quite a long hypo yesterday evening which lasted for a few hours. My sensor was reading at 4.2 but when I (eventually) finger-prick tested, I was 2.5! Anyway I was being a bit rude to my poor husband, who was making pizzas with 7 yo. I was confused about why one of the pizzas came out a bit orange (too much passata!) and so I picked it up by the crust and all the toppings slid off. I also actually said "I'm not eating that" 😱 I was in confused-hypo mode but I feel absolutely awful about it.

So I am planning to make him a lovely meal this evening to make up for it. Send any suggestions my way, I am a terrible chef!

Good morning folks. It was very dull and cloudy at 6am when I fed the cat and the chickens. Bugle, our cockerell was behaving himself after I threatened him with the slow cooker. I like chicken casserole
Aa I type this the sun is shining so I put a load of washing on. Gardening again today.

The HS step is busy this morning
Congratulations to @eggyg , @Wendal and @ColinUK
Alas my bg was 7.9 this morning but at least it's back in the sevens.
Have a good Wednesday folks.:D<3

Morning all on this very grey day. No rain forecast but not much sun either. Max temp 14deg.

4.1 this morning. Quickly went up to 6.2 when I had a dextrose and half a biscuit.

Not doing a lot today, except making a shepherd's pie out of the remaining Easter lamb. Oh and meeting friends in the local early evening. I'm beginning to panic about this new pump I start on 1 May, it's awfully complicated and there's a lot to remember. I suppose it'll fall into place when one is actually using it, as opposed to watching simulations on the phone. Well, I do hope so!

Congratulations to @eggyg, @Wendal and @ColinUK on your HSs.

By the way @Lauren I also recommend M&S for ready prepared food. I rarely use pre-prepared food but on the odd occasion I've bought something in M&S it's been expensive but worth it. They do a lovely Cod or Haddock in beer batter. Or if you can't get to M&S how about doing a steak for your hubby? Easy peasy, get the pan hot and just put the steak in for a couple of minutes, turn it over for a couple of minutes and it's done. Oven chips and peas and voila! A nice indulgent meal.

Have a lovely day all.....

Enjoy the gig .Seen Spear of Destiny a number of times over the years.Very good and Theatre of hate a couple of times .

Afternoon all. 6.4 for me this morning. Grey horrible day up here . Congratulations to @ Eggyg.@Wendle And last but not least @ Collin UK on your Hs today.Enjoy your day people
Speak for yourself..... Glorious weather here yet again, just a bit further inland from you. We are really getting concerned about lack of rain now for the crops and no sign of any for the next 5 days at least.... according to forecast anyway! That tiny shower we had the other morning when I had to skidaddle up the hill to cover my haylage bale for all of 10 mins, barely wet the grass and the ground is still rock hard and cracked here. Can't ever remember having weather as dry for so long. Starting to worry that it will be a deluge when it comes and cause flooding because it will just run off the hard baked ground.

Woke twice today & happy ish with both readings:- 1st one 08:00 BS 7.0 & 2nd 12:00 BS 8.3 🙂

A Very G’Day Mates to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Forgot to check in yesterday & it was 12:01 BS 12.2 which was disappointing but, it DID tell me something: even with BS 5.4 before bed & just having a cuppa soup with cheese crumbles I STILL need SOME NR; so, I guessed last evening with BS 10.8 to give it 24NR?

It went very high to start with being liquid carbs but, dropped quite quickly & it was a steeper valley overnight: down to about 6mmol about 6am & a climb back up since then.

Had my last drops yesterday & there are signs that basal may be a bit much but, not completely sure yet so, still stuck in 60 today & see?

Today is a gloriously bright sunny day when yesterday was a half grey, half sunny day so, Easter just came a few days too early, for us in NI, this year as the best weather is hitting us NOW; the poor working folk are back to work & the kids are still off school! o_O

Can’t wait for the first episode of Race Across The World tonight! 😛

Great ideas, thank you!

A surprising 5.4 for me first thing, shooting skywards a little later. But 5.8 before brekkas. Many phone calls and doorstep visitors today all designed to stress us! 😡

Yesterday I got to cutting and potting various plants - 2 Virginia Creepers, 2 Money plants, 1 (very) tall cacti, into three smaller ones. All in all, productive and tidier. My hand tools arrived today so the next dry day I'll set to the established, and undesirable, pots.

Congratulations to @eggyg , @Wendal and @ColinUK your HSs. 🙂

Afternoon all a very late post for me

6.3 at 715am
you all have a good rest of the day
love gail
