Group 7-day waking average?

Morning woke up at 5 and when first checked it was 9.3 but only 6.3 when I got up and checked my graph it was fairly flat from wee hours in the 6s so a bit of DP.
Did have a sandwich before bed as was going low before bed so no surprise it took a little while to settle down.
My trip to Colwyn Bay was cancelled so no nice new cafe and ended up in Mold but still a nice day and home much earlier.
Another quiet day and probably have Chinese tonight rather than Pizza as Fair is in town and parking is more difficult to pick up Pizza so May give it a miss.

Morning all. 6.5 here before breakfast. G7 app woke me at 5am this morning with a 'Brief Sensor Issue' alert. Tech is great when it works, but it is really a pain at times. At least I was able to get back to sleep.

Have a great day all.

Good morning everyone! 5'3.

I had cold-like symptoms for a couple of days. I generally don't take a lot of medication (except my insulin, of course), in cases like this I tend to hope it goes away on its own. However this hasn't worked for me lately and I didn't want to feel worse so yesterday I got myself some Cold & Flu capsules, and they are helping.

Morning all. 7.2 here, with a little help from me at 3am, ie a correction dose.

Off to Bristol (via Swansea to pick up mum). We’re having a bit of a family knees-up - 2 brothers, 1 SIL, two nieces, the matriarch, and me. Should be a larf!

Motning all. 6.1 and a tiring but good day yesterday at the craft show. Today is busy as well....picking my brother up and visiting mum this morning, then back to pick up my prescription, get some shopping from Lidl and home to clean round and change the bedding.

@ColinUK so sorry it wasn't the outcome you were hoping for. We're here to listen and support you if needed. You've been really brave. Take care.

@Sharron1 congrats on the HS.

@Bloden enjoy your family get together.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all. 6.2 on another frosty but beautiful morning. Unfortunately these mornings don’t turn into nice warm days. Brrrr!

No childcare now until Tuesday. Mr Eggy unfurling the flag as we speak! Although we are going to visit eldest granddaughter after lunch. She’s still in pain when the painkillers are starting to wear off she’s only to take morning and night. As well as the gabarpentin, she’s on codeine, ibuprofen, paracetamol and a laxative. She’s said, I’m like you Grandma with all your tablets. Bless her, only 18 and in almost constant pain. I know it’s early days but my heart breaks for her. She only passed her driving test two weeks ago, her stepdad had bought her a little run around, got it MOTd for her and she got it insured and taxed just days before she went into hospital. She’s not had a chance to drive it. Speaking of which, eldest grandson has his third attempt at his driving test at 11.11 today. Hoping that’s a good sign, all fingers and toes crossed for him please. He’s got a car, just needs to insure it and he’s good to go.

Nice quiet and peaceful morning for us for a change. I might not even get showered until about 10am! Top reb me. 😛

@ColinUK sorry the outcome wasn’t want you wanted, or needed. But you know the truth, he knows the truth, and he has to live with that for the rest of his life, you know you have done as much as you can to bring him to justice, you couldn’t do more. He probably has more sleepless nights than you do knowing what he’s done, that’s his punishment. You now need to ( try) and wipe the scum, and what he did, from your beautiful mind, don’t let him taint you. You’re the bigger person here. We all love you and admire you for your openness and I’m sure you’ve helped others along the way. Big hugs. Xxx

Have a fab Friday all.

Well done @Sharron1 on the 5.2 :star:
A 6.1 for me today.

Dez

Morning

5.6 today, still have toothache but at the dentist this morning, then round to FIL house for some more clearing out.

@ColinUK - sorry this wasn’t the outcome you needed, you have been so honest and brave. We are all here to support you through this. Sending you hugs.

@Sharron1 - congratulations on your HS this morning.

Morning everyone. It’s a beautiful sunny morning here today, just right for a sunny 4.7 on the finger prick.

Have a lovely day and stay well.

It was a 4.7 for me too earlier this morning after I added an extra unit of Levemir last night because I ate far too many roasted peanuts before bed. Looks like it was one of those rare diabetes triumphs!

Really sorry to hear your case has been discontinued @ColinUK but very much suspected that would be the outcome. I too echo what others have said about your bravery and strength of character in reporting and pursuing the investigation. In some ways I am relieved that you are spared the trauma of giving evidence in court as it can be very harrowing and especially so, if the case doesn't ultimately result in a conviction. I hope that you feel you have been listened to and that the case being dropped is not because you have not been believed, but rather because there is simply insufficient independent evidence, mostly due to the historic nature of the event. I expect your complaint will remain on file and could potentially provide corroboration if another person like yourself subsequently made a complaint. I think your integrity and determination to see this through will hopefully have improved police processes so that such incidents are handled better in the future for others and that that gives you some small comfort.

5.7 for me on a cold and frosty Berkshire morning, though it was only a light frost and has already disappeared.

Friday means a trip to Waitrose, Sainsbury's and the Garden Centre shop, accompanying my wife when she does her dog walk as a Cinnamon Trust volunteer this afternoon, and a swim before lunch. Don't normally swim on a Friday but I was busy yesterday, which is when I usually go. Up to 28 lengths now, so I should easily reach my '30 lengths by Easter' target that I set as a New Year's Resolution.

Sorry to hear that things haven't gone the way they should have @ColinUK

Congrats on your HS this morning @Sharron1

Have a good day, all.

4.8 this morning for me.

Good day yesterday at my parents, they are actually coming around gradually to having a carer visit daily for just half an hour and starting to make use of her time in doing odd jobs like washing up, putting the rubbish out, etc. They also said it is good to have someone call in on them every day.

@freesia - thank you for sharing what you are going through as well. It does help. I can understand where Dad is coming from and will just have to accept that is how he is now. We are definitely not changing what we do as life is too precious not to enjoy doing things, especially now we are retired. What you said about wanting to be a daughter and not a carer is very pertinent and something I feel - I want to remain their son and not their carer.

All packed and off to the boat today to do the move over a week from Middlewich to our regular marina just south of Stone. Looking forward to a bit of relaxation!

@ColinUK - sorry to hear of your case being closed. It must be an emotional rollercoaster for you but hopefully you will now be able to find some peace and in some way put it behind you in the past.

@Grannylorraine - hope you get your tooth sorted out this morning and can be free of pain!

@Martin.A : Happy Diaversary and congrats on your HS - great way to celebrate!

@Sharron1 - congrats on your HS!

Take care everyone!

Morning all, 5.3 for me today

Just a normalish day at school for me. I have some new stock to add to the catalogue and cover, and at lunchtime I will be watching the next installment of the BBC's Murder Is Easy by Agatha Christie with Book Group. We have been watching in 20 minute increments, so it's been slow going. I think most of the Y9s have watched the rest at home already but they've been very good about not spoiling it for us staff!

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning folks a 6.5 for me this morning. Still a bit of frost on the ground but nice and sunny at the moment. I did crawl out of bed briefly around 5am to watch the partial lunar eclipse and blood moon, but it was very cloudy so couldn't see anything. Threw a few logs on the woodburner and went back to bed.
Hot water tap delivered before noon so we went shopping in Boston as planned yesterday. Our WI AGM in the evening followed by a quiz and judging of our pots of bulbs by our peers. I bought in a small pot of tete a tete daffodils. Didn't win any prize. Better luck with the quiz. Our team got 39 out of 40 so we won. No prize, just bragging rights  The question we didn't know was identifying the NATO flag. As both my friend and my own hubbies are both retired armed services we hung our heads in shame 😱
When I got home hubby had fitted the new tap so we have filtered cold water and boiling water again. The old kettle can go back in the shed.

Sending hugs @ColinUK as you didn't get the justice you deserve.

Congrats on the HS @Sharron1

Enjoy your visit with your granddaughter today @eggyg . It's a shame she needs all that medication. Hoping it helps with the pain.

Hope everyone's day goes as planned.

Morning all - it's not sunny but it is bright. Not been outside yet, but if it's anything like yesterday it'll be extremely, painfully cold!

5.5 this morning.... yesterday was a nightmare. Apparently I had managed to pull my cannula out, though the pod was still stuck on, and BGs rose steadily from lunchtime to 4pm when I cut the afternoon short and got home to apply a fresh pod. i.e. I hit the 20s.

I have to say I am surprised that the film Anora got all those awards. It's little more than pornography, interspersed by drug taking and wild (very noisy) partying. Not my scene, though I would probably have stayed to the end out of sheer curiosity to see what happened - if anything. My friend, however, was mortally offended and on her prompting we walked out after an hour. Would I recommend it - no... but I'd be interested to hear what others think.

Today we're awaiting a very old friend dropping round for coffee as he is in the area for a weekend. Then this evening there's a party to celebrate the 10th Birthday of our local (though it's been there for many years longer than that - it's when the current landlords took over).

I am so sorry to hear your news @ColinUK ... but at least you have been instrumental in a change in the way the Police handle such cases in the future. I do hope you can now find some peace, leave the matter in the past and move forward in a positive way. Hugs to you.

Our guest is here... so bye for now, have a lovely day.

7.9 after a night flatline of 6s, last night they were 6.something. Today, little breeze but cold, intermittent sunshine and blue skies.

Best wishes @eggyg on your Granddaughter on what she's going through, hopefully the painkillers work.

Congratulations @sharron your HS.

afternoon I did get up obviously this morning and was 6.9
today as I was taking Mrs @goodybags to her work, I opened up to her about what I’m going through at work, quite upsetting but as they say a problem shared… etc
after dropping her off requested appointment with GP
who although hasn’t called, has messaged me and signed me off (for a fortnight)

I will be ok, & appreciate there are people out there that aren’t
my employer won’t be happy, I’ve only been back at work 4 days this week, having been off work sick last week.

looking forward to the weekend
didn’t really feel like posting today, but TBH IM glad I did, even though I’ve probably said more than I should have

Congrats to @Martin.A & @Sharron1 on your HS’s today
hope your soon able to move on and everything is ok @ColinUK after what you’ve been through, things in life certainly don’t always go the way they should

TC everybody 😎
