Group 7-day waking average?

Good morning folks. Joining @freesia with an 8.3. The sun is shining again but it's still a bit blustery. Glad to hear that everyone who has posted thus morning from the storm warning area is ok with no serious damage to your homes.

Congratulations on your HS @MikeyBikey and @Barrowman
Have a lovely holiday @Eternal422

The podiatrist is visiting this afternoon. Just as well as I managed to tear a toenail yesterday. Then harvesting some pears and plums later.
Have a good day, be kind to yourself and others if life is not treating you well. Take care xx

Morning all and it's a nice sunny day - hopefully a walk later. Though wind is ramping up.

Move over @MikeyBikey and @Barrowman as I am joining you on the HS step! 5.2!!!

Exhausted myself yesterday with supermarket shopping and had to give dinner cooking duties to Julian. Hopefully my resilience will build up a bit as the days go on!

Oh yes, have a lovely holidaY @Eternal422

Congratulations on your HS @PattiEvans
Hope you are still scheduling in your daily nanna nap while you are recuperating.
Good luck with the GP appointment @MikeyBikey and hoping you get a successful outcome

Hello all

6.4 for me earlier.

We've taken one of 7yo's friends out for the day to a farm park which husband can get us into for free - one of his work perks! All good so far.

Hoping to get a bit more painting done tonight. It occurred to me last night that the baby could arrive earlier than expected and it would be greatly annoying to have a half painted room in that event! I need to get a wiggle on.

Congrats to all our HSers today. And take care those who are feeling under the weather x

Congratulations to@ MikeyBikey @ Barrowman and @PattiEvans on your Hs today.Enjoy your holidays.Get well anyone who's out of fettle .I got stung in the throat off a wasp yesterday afternoon.Little tinka . Enjoy your day people

Second time waking up today although, technically, the first time was really yesterday & it’s a much better 11:21 BS 5.7 🙂 Maybe just skirting hypo territory with 60NR for soup earlier but, there just came a point I didn’t want to be so high anymore: literally gives me a headache waking high; a different type of headache from being low but, still a headache! :(

I was still uhming & ahing about Tresiba so, was a bit late in deciding to stick in 52 at 12:28: weighing up pros & cons as it’s a delicate balance of not too much basal & not using too much bolus; finally decided that I’m using too much bolus & try a bit more basal? My body is definitely resisting the NR so, must not use anymore than I can help it or I COULD end up in hospital again with a massive overdose which SHOULD have killed me IF it wasn’t for my body being used to apnoea waking me up whenever I stop breathing while sleeping! 😱

I DEFINITELY learnt that lesson; the dangers of insulin abuse!

Will definitely wait for another 3 days to see about 52 basal UNLESS I start hypoing in which case, I’ll go back down to 51?

... I need to get a wiggle on....
I love this forum - I learn something new nearly every day. I can't wait for the opportunity to use that expression. Thanks @Lauren 🙂

Congrats on the HS @PattiEvans. I hope you do manage a walk, though don't tire yourself out.
