Group 7-day waking average?

A 5.3 for me today. 🙂

Dez

Morning all.

6.4

Saw the new Superman film yesterday. It’s good. Intelligent, different to your normal superhero films with touches of humour but nothing broad or slapstick. I recommend it.
Snap Colin with a 6.4 when I first got up and a decent sleep and another Unicorn.
No Pizza last night due to my wife not being 100% with her eating/I had left over Chilli to finish.Plus the garage doing my MOT/Service rang me and said the tracking rods needed to be replaced son I was not sure if I would get my car back in time.
Anyway passed MOT but ate earlier which was just as well as my BiL arrived with his wife unexpectedly and my wife will not eat if visitors arrive so everything would have been delayed for an hour or so and I don’t like to delay my meals.
Then had to pick son up from work so a busy night but not a particular busy afternoon just putting together a PowerPoint presentation.
We are venturing to a furniture warehouse this morning which has a cafe nearby overlooking the Shropshire Union canal so perfect combination of coffee and shopping.
Then maybe a garden centre in afternoon and we have our normal lunch out tomorrow so a routine w/ end but the type I enjoy.
Quiet week next week and have optician appointment on Monday ( not a diabetic screening) just for a routine eye test and again life not bad at the moment.
Have a great w/ end all and @eggyg
your mention of not mentioning “ courgette cake” reminds me of the time I stayed in Birmingham and the waiter came around proudly announcing the Soup of the Day was “ Brussels Sprout” soup and there no takers. The next day they had renamed it as “ Winter vegetable”.

Good morning all from a chilly dank Norfolk. Had 4 hours sleep last night. It will hit me later. Hope everybody is well and happy. Doing nothing at all today tis a hard life I lead. Going to clean Indie today or rather to be honest a friend is.
BG 7.7 a wee bit higher than I like but that's the diabetic fairy for you plus the banana i had at 7am as I was low. In bg.
You all have a good safe happy day.
Wishing you all the colour of the rainbow except blue
Take care especially anyone who's on their own or struggling
Lots of love
Gail

Morning Gail.I am going to ask the question what is it about the colour blue that you don’t like/ find unlucky?
TIA

Morning all, a clickety click 6.6 for me after a dreadful night. I took the dog to the beach last night and she must have swallowed some sea water, she drank from her bowl like a demon when we got home, threw the water up on the rug, drank some more and had me up three times in the night because she was desperate to pee!
She is absolutely fine and bright as a button this morning, whereas I feel like one of the living dead
Don't you just love animals!

On the plus side we finally got our redundancy settlements yesterday, only took seven months but hey ho. Just need Santander to come up with the funds from mum's cheque now!

Good morning 6.6 today
i had a low sugars in the night woke up before Libra picked it up, and immediately wanted to eat the contents of the kitchen
a relaxing morning for me today as had a message the Exercise /MH program if postponed today

Have a Superb Saturday everyone

Terrible night last night. Awful nurse in charge of the ward. She wouldn't put the lights out until midnight, then woke us all at 2am for blood pressure readings and so it went every 2 hours. I am afraid I was not very polite at 6 am when woken to be asked if I had opened my bowels. I commented that it was not an activity I normally performed in my sleep. Anyway 4.7.

Hope you have a lovely holiday @Grannylorraine

So glad you got your redundancy @Lisa65

Thanks Patti, your hospital experience doesn't sound any better than the French one, I do hope you can go home soon and recover in peace!

Morning all. A 5.4 for me today.

Have a good day everyone, and stay well.

9.2 Rising and a unicorn at brekkas. A lovely morning with blue skies and warm sunshine.

We had an enjoyable evening at the Open Mic night at Westend Playhouse; only a couple of dozen folks. My Lady got to the stage for a Fringe Report, to say it was unprepared but still good. I feel proud of her getting up. We also made some friends.

Finally got my BG down for a time yesterday - they soon rose again.

Congratulations @MikeyBikey on your HS this morning.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning

4.7 today, didn’t sleep well due to a blocked nose and itchy ear, never mind I just have to sit in the car.

Posting might be a bit hit and miss as the internet is not very good where we are staying.
Is it hay-fever type symptoms? If so try the local honey. Half a teaspoon daily is normally enough.

Happy belated Lammas. (1 day)

Good morning folks. Very dull and overcast this morning in Lincolnshire. 8.9 this morning. We were quite late collecting the honey extractor yesterday so stopped off for a takeaway on the way home. Hubby had his usual medium kebab and I had a small veggie pizza which I usually enjoy. It left me feeling quite bloated and uncomfortable and a few hours later I threw up the lot, including my evening tablet dose. Nothing else except water until after fasting BG test.

Feeling fine now, tbh felt better after being sick. So normal stuff today. More watering and weeding. Then taking off a box of honey frames to extract and return to the bees to refill.
Need to stock up on some vodka and spiced rum to capture the remaining honey in the wax cappings ready to bottle for Christmas.

Hope your neck is feeling better @Kopiert
OMG @PattiEvans that nurse sounds awful, disturbing everyone's sleep.
Have your day improves so you get to enjoy your holiday @Grannylorraine
So pleased you have finally got your redundancy payment @Lisa65 looking forward to seeing photos of the completed kitchen

The sun is finally shining. Hope you have a good day. Take care xx

It’ll have to be an Australian greeting again today! 🙄

A Very G’Day Mates & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

The second time I’m up today as I woke earlier: 06:25 BS 6.1 & bursting so, that was AFTER the loo & guessed about mid 5’s from the sudden little jump up from the graph with a teeny bit of red; couldn’t get back to sleep so, ate breakfast 07:14 BS 5.4 & fell asleep soon after to wake by midday alarm & had Tresiba 12:00 BS 7.4. 🙂 It could have been lower except that some instinct made me a bit hesitant to stick in my usual 48NR & went with 44 instead; I suppose I knew that I would be going straight back to bed & that teeny dip in & out of the red on the overnight graph made me a bit cautious? BUT, the 7’s is still a pretty good place to start! 🙂

Hi everyone

6.4 for me on waking. Just been to town to post my sister's swimsuit back to her which she left last week - she is going to Florida on Thursday so will need it! 7yo and I went to the bakery on the way back. I bought a cinnamon twirl but it tasted like it has been deep fried - I didn't eat it. Not going there again haha.

I'm a bit worried as my husband got a results letter about his sleep apnea test yesterday. 43.3 events per hour which is well over the "severe" threshold :( I am fairly uninformed on sleep apnea but I'm hoping if he loses some weight it might improve. He's been working from home since covid and gained quite a bit, but had a fairly petite frame before. He has signed up to play football and is planning to follow the Freshwell meal plans. Hopefully will be ok in time. He's only 36 :(
