Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 🙂 5.9 here and a proper flatfish overnight.

My TIR this week is dreadful, but I seem to have got off the BG roller coaster, finally. I coasted along between 6 and 10 yesterday which is so much nicer than spiking and crashing on a constant loop.

Lovely family pic @eggyg.

clock hidden in my shopping bag of shopping bags in the airing cupboard! I don’t know how I’ll wrap it, it’s shaped like Napoleon’s hat! I’ll have to get a gift bag out of my gift bag of gift bags! We’ve all got one of those haven’t we
We definitely all have those. Mine are kept under the stairs

Morning all. 10.7 when i woke, 9.5 now. Must have been the cheese and crackers (3 little ones) with wine. Plants have already been watered and a ham is in the oven for later. Its lovely and cool atm so after i've finished mt coffee i'll whip round with a duster and clean the bathroom then thats it. 33° will be too hot for me to do anything other than sit in front of a fan.

Have a lovely Saturday everyone.

Well, after mentioning I could be complaining of a heatwave, last night was a sticky, sweaty hot one so, had to open my bedroom door into the hallway & no lights in the bedroom! WHAT A MASSIVE difference it made: just that opened door created a “heat sink” & all the hot air in the bedroom just flowed out into the hallway!

02:03 BS 7.9 & couldn’t get back to sleep after loo trip & getting up now 07:13 BS 9.1

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Finished off The Traitors NZ series 2 yesterday & was a bit disappointed but, overall I still think the kiwis are very smart Lightbulbs emojis!, the Americans are very emotional, take things very seriously & find it hard to separate their emotions from the game :care: ,(I’m the same & I’d be a “sitting duck” & “mincemeat” for the traitors despite being rather good at murder mysteries in books, film or tv) :care:,, the Aussies are into showboating when exiting at the round table “you’re idiots!” 😱 AND we Brits are the best, I think I’m being biased  >>😉😉, with a good, healthy mix of seriousness in deducting & missions balanced with “it’s a game” attitude. <3 Plus, The Traitors Uncloaked really adds something extra after each episode: the US’ final reunion episode is great too but, not as extensive being only at the end; would have loved to see SOMETHING of what happens after the end with the kiwis? I found the Aussies a bit boring in series one & hated the out of control “showboating” & lack of a team spirit in series two & thought what a perfect ending! I can’t wait & really looking forward to seeing Claudia Winkleman & this year’s gang again this year! <3

Morning all, 4.3 here, been wobbling along the top of the red all night, but I think that’s dehydration, I fully expect to climb rapidly when I’ve got my cup of tea inside me.
Was lucky yesterday, went riding in the morning and there was a thin cloud cover and a breeze, and the temperature was really pleasant. Heated up after mid morning, though, Brought some of the pony's rugs and some old towels we keep up at the yard home to wash, and they were dry on the line in an hour. Last night it was hot, I broke out the fan for the first time this year. Our house is slow to heat up, but once it’s got a good thermal mass, it takes days to cool down again.

Happy Summer Solstice.

After a night flatlining i awoke to a 5.2, nobody was more surprised!

My OH has set off early to catch her train to London for a few days, she'll be seeing friends at a church youth group that she attended 38 years ago.
I the meanwhile I have a wedding to attend over the weekend. I hope she really enjoys herself. She'll be met off the train by a friend at th3 station, before setting off to Camberwell for her reunion.

Hope you all have an amazing Solstice.

A 5.8 for me after a hot and sticky night. 😱

Congratulations on your Hs @silentsands

9.2 this morning. But the long acting Toujeo (down a point) had an effect as a very gradual rise with a flat graph. No 3am alarm. Just need to get my evening meal carb and insulin levels sorted I guess. Fingers crossed.

Received some sandals from Amazon. But they’re uncomfortable and my feet slip out. Sending them back. Lesson learned.

Hot and sticky day ahead. Keep well everyone.

Nick

Congrats SS on the HS and for highlighting Summer Solstice.
A 6.3 for me but a pretty flat night and a 48 hour Unicorn so must be doing something right despite our regular Pizza which was delicious.
Had a very nice day yesterday and sleeping well despite heat and great to have all our dogs back together.
Just having a very good time at the moment not that I have particular bad spells but usually just very content but occasionally when one of my particular activities is exciting then it can affect my whole mood.
So one of the things I get involved in is share trading/ investing but deal in highly risky and volatile stuff so does require a certain mindset.
The last 2-3 years has generally not been an enjoyable place but the last few weeks have been frankly so dramatic that it creates an incredible buzz.I have found it really enjoyable to see a lot of people so happy but equally to try and pass on lessons learned to try and mitigate the inevitable downside which can have the polar opposite effect on these individuals.
Never a truer adage than making hay while the sunshine’s.
Anyway the sun is definitely shining strong but no hay to make until next week so just enjoy the good weather.
Best wishes to all

Morning all and 6.6 for me.

Sensor fell off yesterday teatime after 10 days. Replacement sorted and new sensor up and running.

Rubbish night too hot then alarm kept beeping despite (accidentally) reducing basal yesterday evening.

Waiting for results of meeting between management of the band we may be touring with and agent in LA yesterday so we can see if it's going to work. Fingers crossed.

Have a good day everyone

Morning all. Another 4.3 for me this morning....

5.5 this morning after another uncomfortable night. It was 26 degrees in our kitchen when I got up just after 8 and it's only half a degree cooler now with the back door open. Surprised to see that it had rained overnight. Not much but enough to plaster the cars with those pesky dust spots.

My wife and her sister leave for home tonight, just before midnight our time. Harrisburg to Chicago, then Club Class to Heathrow, a treat courtesy of her sister. Well, she does own a travel company.

3 Brits in action in the tennis QFs yesterday, but only Jack Draper made it through to today's SFs. Looking forward to seeing if he can make tomorrow's final. Watching the cricket at the moment and wondering what possessed England to put India in to bat after winning the toss yesterday. Paying for it now.

Congrats on the HS @Silent Sands

Have a good Saturday. Temperatures due to peak in the low 30s down here today. which would make it the hottest June day on record, I heard.

Hi, 5.6 for me earlier this morning.
We are having a morning in as child is too uncomfortable in the heat. She's currently sat watching television with the fan directly in front of her.
She didn't get Star of the Week sadly but she's been lovely in celebrating her friend who did get it. One of those things I suppose!
Looking forward to husband returning from work later and hopefully going on a long walk in the park when it's a bit cooler.

Oh thats a shame.

Afternoon was 6.0 on waking this morning

Congrats on todays HS @Silent Sands
and to all that have achieved HS recently including @Pam123 & @gail2 plus others I’m sure I’ve missed

currently I’m still chilling in our lovely cool lounge been watching you tube videos, I found some interesting ones regarding use of natural soap & neem oil (as a pesticide for the garden)
we certainly seem to have all sorts of what I would describe as black-fly and other unwanted pests eating plants before the slugs chomp on the vegetables as they do

mouse or it’s probably mice was present and spotted in the garden yesterday evening
although we only ever see one there’s usually more than you see, but we always see just Mickey that’s why I say mouse
he, she/ last night simply knocked the capture device out the way, I was hoping to catch it/them alive to release well away from here, we will see
although interestingly a quick Google search tells me mice do actually eat slugs, now there’s an idea, I could reap it/ them and hire it/them out

there was football exercise/training this morning - today I’m supposed to be cleaning out the garage, but still haven't started on that

It was Mrs @goodybags birthday yesterday, one of her friends where she works has treated us to an afternoon tea at a rather nice location voucher
as it’s our 21st anniversary tomorrow we plan to use that straight away, tomorrow I’ve just looked on the website at the menu and it’s a proper afternoon tea (so totally un Diabetic friendly) will be interesting to see how my levels are afterwards, especially as it’s now over a month since I last took insulin (last jabbed on 20 /05) I’ve certainly tested my reaction to all sorts of foods recently
90 day TIR is currently showing as 92% before it was 95% when taking NovaMix30 I took that for over 15 years

Have a lovely weekend everyone
TC 😉
