Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. a happy 4.2 for me earlier this fine morning,,,

have a good rest of the day folks and stay safe.

Afternoon and a 5.9 for me and apart from a misjudged rise due to the 2nd wave of a mushroom pie after I had fallen asleep on Wednesday night I have been pleased with my control. So have been busy this week but in a good way so a 3 day Meeting in Oxford but a nice hotel an evening BBQ and Punting on River Cherwell and a 99% TIR.
Even a nice drive home so picked dogs up from their holiday and they enjoy it so much and a trip to dentist so a relaxing afternoon.
Garden centre, butchers and Pizza in that order.
Car registered 36.5 when I got in it for drive home but settled down to a mere 31 so switched the air con on and got back in a nice mood and contrast that years ago with nylon seats, only air con was having window down and any long hot drive made you very hot and bothered.
Will have catch up on posts but settling a bit more like normal.
HAGW all

5.5 for me, I must have slept really heavily despite the heat, feel like I've been drugged or something (I haven't)
*shuffles off in search of coffee*
I think it got cooler during the night, I woke surprised to find I'd covered myself with the duvet at some point.

No reading yet, too dehydrated. Downing tea as fast as hubby can make it (we use leaf tea in a pot so it's about a pint an hour)

We are going to watch How To Train Your Dragon later, really looking forward to it :D
My daughter saw it last night, she absolutely adored it. She has already put the soundtrack on loop, wants to buy the dvd and get a dragon tattoo!!

As it's Pride month, I'll share this little example of how casually today's teens discuss sexuality, not like in my day where "coming out" was a big secret, accompanied by snide jokes if you were lucky, shunning if you weren't...

Me: Who's going to the cinema tonight?
Her: Me, Tess and Ella
Me: Is Ella the one on your corridor? I like to know a bit about your friends but it's hard to keep track.
Her: I was going to say tess is gay like that makes any difference and then i remembered that ella is too so...... that dont help

On the 5.6 step with @Robin today after a very uncomfortable night with the eternal monologue for company (there was no waking my OH snoring on the recliner), a slightly sticky night (no doubt it'll be worse tonight, even with the breeze).

I've been processing files and emails this morning before printing out an address and a letter for the passport office - J is planning a trip next year with friends. She needs a passport now for ID. Anyways its been sent off.

Too hot today. I'm tussling with being to hot, or having a hypo.

Afternoon all.Its a warm one up here . Managed to take me parka off Still got me fleece on like .6 7 for me this morning.Off to mark's and Spencers to do food shop now .Hope they haven't sold out of pre packed salads and chicken thighs again.Enjoy the rest of your day folks.

That’s the reusable pens sorted out now as in house pharmacist rang me back: too late for today & it’ll be done on Monday; then, get chemist to deliver it when they text me to say they have it!

The only change is the Tresiba cartridges that only come in the normal strength 100 units/ml which I’m fine with as my basal doses have come down, even the winter dose, that I CAN dial up single units to 60, now on 49, & maybe do two injections later in the winter that could be more than 60, 64 last winter?

And I can order 4 boxes of NR & 2 boxes of Tresiba at once!

So, it’s a bit more convenient now! 🙂

Wish my hubby was the same. I've already been told off today for talking too much about people he couldn't give a &@£* about...
Well I have been here 15 years and we’ve both met a few of the “ team” on our travels over the country. That @ColinUK is a right ‘un! 😛

We use leaf tea in a teapot too. Changed from teabags years ago when we realised the bags didn't compost. Love a fresh pot of tea in hot weather.

Evening folks on what seems like the hottest day this year..😱 started this morning just after 6am with a 7.9 after a very hot sticky night.
Tai Chi this morning followed by lunch with a friend then hairdressers for a trim. Made an appointment to get eyebrows and lashes tinted as they are so fair I can't actually see them to apply make up at the moment. Cataract referral appointment looks to be a couple of months away according to the letter I got yesterday.
I feel officially old now as I applied for my state pension today. Won't get it until October. Next on the list is my bus pass

Have a good weekend everyone and take care.

Good evening looks like I forgot to check in yesterday
been busy recently since I’m back at work, strangely since I found a new opportunity which will I’m sure be slightly less stressful than for who I was previously working for previously
I’ve now been approached by 3 different companies encouraging me to apply for a job with them, but I think I made the right decision already.

anyway was 5.3 this morning and yesterday (Thursday morning) was 6.6
I’ve pages of posts to check through

What a wonderfully sunny day it’s been
SCORCHIO 😎

Good morning all. 8.3, that’s to be expected after an Indian meal last night. When I went to bed I was 12 something with about an hours worth of insulin left. Didn’t want to chance a correction. It was worth it though.

Operation Mantle Clock went like, well, clockwork. Managed to get home about 20 minutes ahead of Mr Eggy and clock hidden in my shopping bag of shopping bags in the airing cupboard! I don’t know how I’ll wrap it, it’s shaped like Napoleon’s hat! I’ll have to get a gift bag out of my gift bag of gift bags! We’ve all got one of those haven’t we? 😛

We had a great night last night, although there were times I did wonder if we were stark raving bonkers going for a curry when it was 29 degrees! Funnily enough we were the only ones in, everyone else was at home with a salad!

Quiet day today, more lounging on the loungers in the garden. Today I may even take mine and Baz Lehrman’s advice and slap on some suncream. My décolletage currently can be seen from the International Space Station. Numpty! 🙄

Have a super sunny Saturday. We’re forecast storms by mid afternoon.

And here’s the carnage that is The Hordes, all 15 of us.

Morning, 6.5 after a flatfish. Feels lovely and cool at the moment after a sweaty night.
Today is MIL birthday (93) so will be indulging in a spot of trifle later :D

Have a great weekend x

Nah, he always asks what the craic is but never reads it! My password is my finger tip so he’d have to cut my finger off!
Or clone you maybe.

And it was a joy meeting you and Bri!

6.3

Really pushed things at the gym yesterday in order to provoke a wobble. Did it? Did it ‘ek. Nothing. Not even the vaguest hint of one.
So I returned the monitor after 47 1/2 hrs that saw not even the slightest suggestion something might be up.
It was lovely to get home and have a shower!

Double show yesterday. Paris Opera Junior Ballet in the afternoon which was just a bit drab and lacklustre and then Dream Ballets at the Open Air Theatre Regent’s Park in the evening.

Dream Ballet was fun. Not a five star perhaps but certainly 4 1/2.

Today is also a two show day with Oliver! this afternoon and Matthew Bourne’s The Midnight Bell this evening. No doubt I’ll also have multiple wobbles because that’s just Sod’s Law.
