A round 6.0 for me today. I’m afraid I hit a few snacks last night, some of which may or may not have been Battenberg cake (no other sweet things were involved however)
.
To be honest that falls into the category of comfort eating after a stressful day over arrangements for my parent’s upcoming move into a care home. Luckily they are both accepting of it, Mum is even excited to get there and get settled in. I think she is looking forward to relieving her boredom and having other people to chat to. We also had the grandchildren for the day, which was actually a pleasant distraction from phone calls and emails! We ended up going over to my parents again in the evening after dropping the grandchildren back home so that I could go through the finances with Dad which are needed for the admission forms. The last thing I want is to cause any delays due to waiting for admin as Mum & Dad are all geared up for going there on Monday morning. They don’t need any more stress so I’m doing my best to protect them from all of the form filling etc.
Spending a day to ourselves today (other than any more form filling then transferred some money to the care home). Might even get around to doing the reading for my course!
Congratulations @ColinUK on your fabulous results. Fingers crossed your ECG comes back normal for you.
Congratulations also to @Martin.A on your Friday HS!
Take care everyone and Happy Friday!
