The only thing I can thing is that yesterday must have been particularly busy for birthdays? As your username starts with T you'll be towards the end of the listed members so may not have been visible on the list :(

Thanks, Mike - I did wonder if that might be the case. It doesn't really matter, I don't come here for birthday greetings, I've just been a bit puzzled by it as I noticed the last couple of years that I didn't get a birthday thread - this was the first year I thought of trying to work out why not!

For those people who have usernames later in the alphabet and/or who were born on busy days for birthdays, would it not be possible to set the today's birthdays box to be expandable or clickable, or alternately to have a forum calendar?
