I can’t eat 100g, I have to eat the pack!

Type 2 diagnosed Feb 2016.
Metformin x2 500mg Feb 2016 discontinued after five days.
Gliclazide for 3 months - discontinued as I put too much weight on.
April '16 to 8 Feb 2017 forxiga dapagliflozin 10mg discontinued bad skin reactions and discomfort, (thrush).
Feb 2017 tried Metformin 500mg x 2 a day so far so good. 2019 due to further gastric problems, have come off Metformin, and am now on Forxiga 10mg daily (Dapagliflozin)
My hba1c blood test is done annually, until 2017 it was every 6 months.
June 2017 HBA1C 8
June 2018 HBA1C 12
August 2019 HBA1C 8 - will be tested again due to being low carb in November '19.
April 2021 (none taken due covid 2020) 8.9 HBa1C.
Taken off dapagliflozin propanediol ( forxiga) made by AstraZenica due to horrendous non stop Thrush, put back on Metformin, 500mg slow release for two weeks, thereafter another 500mg.
April 2022 Metformin SR now increased to the max 2000mg with evening meal, so far I am doing really well!
