6.6. Still cooking. Watching an interesting French film version of Jaws. But with a twist? Bunch of young French eco warriors try to save a predator in the Seine river. A shark expert with experience of this monster 3 years back & the local “Chief Brody” try to save them whilst the Mayer of Paris has eyes on the prize for a water pageant in a bid for the Olympics? I think we need a bigger boat.
 
Didn’t do a pre tea, but had an absolute feast in a Chinese buffet before a Seth Lakeman gig ( including rice and noodles and other naughty stuff) and a few hours later at the interval I’m at 5.8?!?

Maybe it’s all my foot tapping burning the blood sugar off!

Oddly the soundtrack as this French shark attacks & people panic in this film is like a cross between the original hunt music from Jaws & Physco?

Previously, I posted I was watching a French “adaptation” of Jaws? But the predator was swimming around the Seine river for some reason to breed? Film stole ideas from Jurassic park suggesting the sharks could self replicate (without “Mr shark.”) then after somehow flooding Paris in a botched attempt by the heros to blow them up. Ended with them going global because they multiply at an exponential rate. Swam up the Thames, into China, Tokyo, New York. Suez Canal. Like the ending of the pandemic that made humans “stupid” at the end of the reboot of planet of the apes? Lol, hope that clarifies. 😉 I won’t be watching the sequel.
