Back in the day!

I opened a cupboard in the corner of this room which was behind the table - with there being just the two of us these days the table had been pushed back a bit - and I found loads of LPs - lots of The Beatles, but also folk music and military bands, The Eagles, James Galway, Gilbert and Sullivan, - my husband immediately claimed they are his collection - good thing we are not getting a divorce, though if he keeps on claiming my LPs we very well might be.

A couple you might especially like :D :D

Anybody remember The Four Pennies ?
I do, though I wasn't a fan (their hit Juliet wasn't my kind of music). It was The Kinks for me.

I have a stash of Kinks singles, EPs and LPs from 1964-1970 packed away in our loft and my CD collection includes some compilations. Saw them live at Swansea Top Rank, and Ray Davies live at the New Theatre in Oxford a few years ago when he was touring solo. Oh, and I saw the Kinks musical Sunny Afternoon over in Woking not that long ago. Of course I did.

Incidentally I read yesterday that The Searchers are playing Glastonbury this year and then calling it a day after almost 70 years.
