This is less for me and more for a friend, I'm planning to make some experimental a mocktails for a friend with type 1 at a coming party and wasn't sure if things like flavoured extracts usually used in baking are safe for him to have.

Their listed ingredients are

"Propylene Glycol, Alcohol (content 35%), Water, Lemon Oil. No added colour."

"Glycerine, Water, Natural Strawberry Flavour, Colour: Carmine."

"Glycerine, Alcohol (35% vol.), Water, Peppermint Oil."

Any help would be great as I wasn't certain on using fresh mint or lime juice to be safe, and I'm more likely to find a use for those after the fact.

I wouldn’t have thought there’s anything there that someone with Type 1 diabetes would need to avoid completely, and I assume there would only be small quantities of the flavourings anyway. What I'd want to know, though, when presented with something containing an unknown mixture of things, is what all the ingredients are, so I can work out how much insulin (if any) I need to inject for them.

Oh of course, All ingredients are being run by him before it goes anywhere near him.

Was just trying to nail down what I could and couldn't use to see my options, BEFORE I overload him with a small recipe book of possible drink ideas =D
