    Group 7-day waking average?

Around 7 today. I'm on pre prep day for colonoscopy which is Thursday so low residue diet today and clear liquids tomorrow after an early brekkie. I'm more dreading the no milk in coffee tomorrow than the lack of food. Going to start being productive and get a chicken roasting in the air fryer...

    Sweeteners.

Some of them have the…opposite effect for me. The worst one was a bottle of Dr Pepper zero. I think our toilet should have been fitted with a seatbelt! Worse than the “moviprep” I had to take before a colonoscopy!

Thanks for your response! We’ll definitely invest in some sudocrem. He says he’s not too worried about the prep - it sounds like it will be fairly similar to what he experiences on a daily basis!

...but the GP has finally worked out how to order a fecal elastase test to see if it’s pancreatic enzyme insufficiency so he’s waiting on results for that. He’s also got an appointment about a colonoscopy on the 20th. Even on insulin he’s still losing a lot of weight and feeling pretty terrible.

...(or others in the NSAID category). Calprotectin was 1148 on a single test and no repeat test requested as they went straight to urgent colonoscopy option (which is 28th). I'm not sure if I want them to find something or not at this point. Tired of GP roulette in finding one who will listen...

    Colonoscopy, Insulin and General Advice

I've had only one colonoscopy, but many gastroscopies. I found them a doddle. No sedation of any sort, no discomfort. The laxative was an experience! Nothing happened for a few hours, not like suggested in the notes. I even rang them and they said be patient, and they were right. Blimey! I...

What, I am saying if you go private, You chose the consultant. So look for a consultant at the private hospital, if he is wrong he will refer you to the correct specialist. I am going to put my pennies worth in here and 30 years ago the condition of Diverticulitis, is extremely difficult to...
