Best inexpensive hand cream?

Since being out in the cold my hands have become so dry and cracked that they've nearly had me in tears with the pain and discomfort, I've been using E45 lotion but it doesn't seem to be doing any good and I'm not keen on it to be honest as I find it a bit too greasy, I've got Bruce bringing me some Neutrogena to try tonight but what do you guys recommend? x

It's from Aldi not expensive at all and very good

I find Neutrogena is good when I worked I used to carry a tube in my pocket.

As I say I don't get to Aldi so no I've never seen this, wonder if Lidl do something along the same lines?

Daughter uses Vaseline Intensive care (Advanced hand repair) She says it's the only one that doesn't make her eczema worse, because it gets absorbed easily, and doesn't leave a greasy residue on her skin.

I find Neutrogena is good when I worked I used to carry a tube in my pocket.

Thanks, Bruce is using steroid cream from the docs at the moment so he's bringing me the Neutrogena tonight x

Their own brand name is Cien or something or Cein cannot remember
Not greasy in the slightest.

They are direct competitors in the UK and Europe so a lot of synergy in product range and as Aldi as its own supplers, so does Lidl.

Had a look at that but as its only Tesco or the chemist I can get to just now its a bit too expensive at the moment x

I use Vaseline Intensive Care on my feet from Home Bargain and it is excellent
I also use Flextrol

Yeah I know their own brand as I buy their cotton wool pads etc, cant get up for a look today but will see 🙂 x

Don't forget to checkout Amazon and Ebay options on the internet - especially free p&p options. Could be cheaper than bus trip or petrol 😉

I was looking on them for O'keeffes working hands last night, it's not so bad though as if the Neutrogena works it's 2 for £5 at Tesco just now and my granddad is there basically every day lol x

I have a bit of psoriasis on my elbows and the doctor prescribed Hydromol. When I was full of lurgy I also used some on my nose (sore from tissues) and lips, it might help. It is very greasy so I only use it at night so I don't get it on my clothes.
Another cream I use is Cetraben cream, a bit more expensive but not as greasy.

I use Balneum plus cream urea 5%, as found E45 does nothing for me. instructions say just apply to affected area twice a day. This is available on prescription and what I get is in a 500g dispenser.

Mrs B is a Cetraben fan. I don’t think it’s greasy at all, to be honest. I use Aveeno, which is expensive but I get it on prescription.

I get unguentum on prescription. A 500 g tub lasts ages.

Yeah, I use Cetraben too and it's pretty good. Can't really advise on much else as my eczema makes pretty much any off the shelf cream feel like I'm putting acid on.
