Group 7-day waking average?

Too high this morning - 8 going on 10 by 7am. I’m finding that my evening meal at about 6.30pm takes a long time to sink in, and the night time graph is not pretty. BS rising between eleven and midnight. Took a 2 unit correction before sleep but it had practically no effect. Frustrating. I might go back to 23 long acting.

Nice but windy out.

Morning everyone. Very overcast and very windy here today but it’s still nice to not have that intense heat we’ve had lately.

Anyway, it was a 4.6 for me earlier today. Have a nice day everyone and stay well.

A whisker away with a 5.3 this morning, which has dawned bright and sunny but with a refreshingly cool breeze. Our garden thermometer peaked at 30.3 degrees on Saturday. More comfortable 20s on the cards for the next few days.

My wife has unpacked after her trip to the US and we have 3 new fridge magnets and I have a Cheers T-shirt and a bag of dark chocolate Hershey Kisses.

Back to the usual 3 WFH on a Monday :( so I'm going to switch my Tuesday swim to today. At least then I'll be out of the house and out of the way, at least for a while.

Have a good start to the week, everyone.

Morning everyone. A round 8 this morning. My BG has been running high all week. I think it's the heat but I have made sure I kept hydrated. 6mm rain overnight which is good. Sunny with a fresh wind this morning. Hubby will get the rest of his beans and leeks in as the ground has softened. I will carry on weeding and pruning. Oh what a glamorous life we lead.

Sounds like everyone had an uproarious time yesterday @eggyg .hope your husband hasn't got a hangover.
Lovely photos of you both enjoying your afternoon tea @goodybags

Have a good week folks and hoping the weather is kind to everyone. 😎:D

A 9 late in the morning as I went to the loo before looking at my phone, by with time DP had kicked in.

It's a gorgeous day here but with a high wind in my face as I found on my limited walk - had to turn as I had breathing difficulties. Much better on the return.

My OH gets back today at some point depending on journey times with the train. Really looking forwards to seeing her - it's been a long weekend. But at least, she really enjoyed it despite the taxi fares!

I've been invited out tomorrow morning, for a Men's Breakfast, at a place I've only just heard about near Milnthorpe, so that'll be nice. Be also good to see him again, it's been a few weeks.

We did, hubby fine surprisingly, he was quite tiddly! Two steps forward two back kind of drunk! We don’t go out very much at all, a handful of times in a year, if that. But when he gets with his brothers they’re terrible!
Mr Eggy on the right. They were well away by then!

That was just the first round of drinks I bet!

I love the camper van, complete with a road tax disc!. A classic.
Yes it was a shame when we had to get rid of it but the lack of proper seats and seatbelts in the back, combined with the terrible fuel economy and huge maintenance costs, meant we couldn't keep it going once my daughter was born and have had sensible vehicles ever since.

9.2 today, seemingly unaffected by pizza consumption last night.

BS was 4.5 5.8 and 5 the last 3 days, late again had a busy weekend more gardening trying to keep up with the dreaded bind weed we have tried the weed killer but its not made any difference, so pulling the stuff out every day, the trouble is the garden is heavily planted with flowers shrubs etc and we cannot put weed killer down at all is some areas but even where were able to its just not working, happy for the cooler weather today, more of the same tomorrow

Roundup is supposed to work if you spray the bindweed just as it’s about to flower. We used to unwind as much as we could from round our treasured plants, scrunch it up into a bunch, then put an upright plastic cylinder over it, made from a 2 litre lemonade bottle (diet, of course!) with the top and bottom cut off. Then we sprayed it downwards into the cylinder, so no weedkiller misted accidentally onto our cherished plants.
We eventually got rid of it, but it took several years, and even now, the odd bit reappears, but seems susceptible to being pulled out.

thanks I will try that

A Costco trip this morning to stock up on meat and a few other bits. Spent £75 on various meats which might sound a lot but it split into at least 35 2 person portions so not bad really.
Starting to get home grown veg, broad beans, peas, mangetout, French beans and still picking rhubarb and a few strawberries , red currents, tay berries. Blackberries no where near yet./

GM
5.6 on a cloudy morning. I was reading 8.5 at bedtime after a small banana, so I did a small correction dose of trurapi so that I didn't wake up at 8.5 as well. I was going to take the dog to the beach, but it felt a bit chilly so we went to the playing field for a game of ball instead.
Back home now with a coffee.

Hope you all have a good day.
