Group 7-day waking average?

Morning everyone. On the borderline today with a 4.2 on waking earlier this overcast day.

I've just cleaned the downstairs windows inside and out, mowed the front and back lawn and hung out a load of washing. I am sweltering and currently sitting in front of the fan!!

Congrats on the HS @Eternal422

Good afternoon folks. 7.9 this morning. A brisk walk to my keep fit class and back should sort it out. Grabbing a quick cuppa before I inspect my hives. Club meeting tonight so I am getting a lift with one of the members who lives in the next village.
Out all day tomorrow at the Lincolnshire County Show. First time we have been.
Need to get the chores done today.

Congratulations on your HS @Eternal422

Everyone enjoy today and remember hats and sunscreen.😎

Well! After thinking all morning & the scans I’ve decided to go with 48 Tresiba in the right thigh: 2 meals with 54NR for BS that stays too high; but, no u-turns like yesterday so, the 52 in total yesterday seems to steadied the ship & don’t want BS to go low overnight by sticking in another 50 today. Plus, I’ve already had 3 jabs in my left thigh in 2 days: time to give that side a rest; time for the right thigh to do its share! o_O See how that goes & stick 50 in the left thigh tomorrow! A Phew! emoji in relief for no more “Head Scratching”

You don’t HAVE to read the next bit: I won’t know; about Disney+ & cdramas!

Just a side note has anyone had trouble in subscribing a new account or resubscribing an existing account on Apple devices to Disney+? I’ve been trying resubscribe an existing account for their currently much reduced deal of £1.99 for 4 months available to sign up for until 30th June & I haven’t been able to. After googling it Disney+ decided to stop using the Apple Disney+ App or the Apple App Store to subscribe & pay through Apple, they don’t want to pay the fees to Apple, & the website SAYS you can use the website to subscribe, pay & watch but, I’ve been trying for a 3 days now & I can’t subscribe! It keeps failing when my banking app keeps coming up with £0.00 as the amount to approve, every time I buy something online I need to approve every purchase with my banking app! My existing original account & subscription was done that way & it was when Shogun was first aired only on Disney+ about 2 years ago I think & haven’t used it since? Now, neither the app or the website works!

I’m getting ready to watch the latest Xu Kai cdrama that’s airing mid July & it’s the first one to air on a Western platform live on Disney+ “Moonlit Reunion”. I’ve posted before about watching my first Xu Kai drama back in 2022 “Arsenal Military Academy that aired in 2019 & been following his career & in the years since 2022 he’s gone from being either number 4 or 3, depending on which list, top Chinese actors globally to number 1 now! So much so that his dramas have been appearing on Western platforms later after first airing on Chinese platforms but, now Western platforms are starting to air cdramas live ie. at the same time as airing in China, as cdramas are SO popular globally & not just with Chinese people, by airing the top 4 Chinese actors’ latest dramas of which Xu Kai’s “Moonlit Reunion” is being aired by Disney+

Of course, if I can’t get to watch it on Disney+, I’ll watch as usual on myasian.tv website & they don’t have an app but, it only does 720p resolution & any self respecting platform needs at least 1080 if not 1080 HDR or 4K resolution, I seen some platforms were movies are can be seen at 8K, you have to pay a much higher price for it but, it’s available, & I can REALLY see the difference especially, with my latest iPad mini A17 Pro higher screen resolution!

Does anyone know of another way of getting to watch Disney+?

6.6 here on a damp and miserable day which did it's best to cause me slight unhappiness, I'm sure I'll pick up later in the day.

My only chore today is applying for a Citizens ID card which I'm digging around. Still, my MP did answer me so that's something, even though it won't help us in the immediate future. Js London trip, this weekend, is looking desperate right now.

Congratulations to @Eternal422 on today's HS which is something to cheer us up.

Hope everybody enjoys the day, whatever the weather.

Very pleased with this new sensor - a 5.2 today!

View attachment 35825

That makes up for the previous sensor playing up yesterday and insisting I was 17 to 20 all day. Foolishly I took insulin to correct and ended up hypo - causing me to test with a finger prick and discovered the truth!

Not much planned today other than laundry, possibly a spot of gardening then visiting my parents later on this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone!
Congratulations on your HS

Grabbing a quick cuppa before I inspect my hives.
I read that, thought you were talking about a rash and thought "oversharing" before noticing who had posted it

Good idea. I think I have finally convinced student daughter that suncream is not magic, you still need to limit your time in the sun and reapply every few hours. She has learnt the hard way and was very pink and sore at the weekend.

I have remembered to post my FBG today - 10.7. Yesterday's accidental 23hour fast has had no discernible effect, except perhaps on my cognitive performance. I astounded myself earlier by spelling Tomasz Schafernaker's name correctly first time.

Some very challenging weather ahead - Scorchio!

03:52 BS 11.1 which is only 1mmol higher than my dinner around 22:00 BS 10 something & going straight to bed! BS was higher than usual yesterday with a bit more NR with no u-turns & this morning also, a bit higher but, will let the basal level out the next few days to an average of 49: 50 was too much; 48 wasn’t enough! 🙄 & a cautious little 🙂:thankyou:

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

50 Tresiba in left thigh at midday today! 🙂

Oh! Almost forgot! Weighed myself on an empty stomach before breakfast & it’s going in the right direction again: down from 92.5 to 91.45 kilos; will keep that up by continuing to move around! It HAS gotten a BIT less wheezy: not while moving but, notice it in the “Gasping Stops”; COULD it get to the point where I can just say it’s a “Catch My Breath Stop”?

Good morning beautiful people, rise and shine
5.8 for me today, just got back from super early trip to the rec with the dog. Heading back to bed after a coffee.
Didn't catch the nurse yesterday, she rang me but I didn't get to the phone in time, hopefully she will try again today.

A very good early morning. 5.3, so close. I was 5.1 at 4am when I got up for a loo break ( wonderful sunrise) and 5.3 when I next woke at 5.15! As @Robin would say, I passed through the 5.2 station.

Going to be a pleasant day, 18 degrees, nothing like what you’re getting further south. That starts tomorrow, 25 degrees right up to Sunday. Oh dear, frazzle time, better get the factor 50 out for my poor pale Celtic skin. I’m off to meet a friend for a cuppa and cake at 10.30. Mr Eggy will drop me off as he’s got an appointment, I’ll just walk home as he’ll be up the ladder again, rain stopped play yesterday, and I’m definitely not going to ring him for a lift whilst he’s up there!

Glad to say we’ve now got WiFi after Saturday’s storm blew up our hub. We got on to BT on Sunday and they could see what had happened and promptly sent another one. Good service.

Have a wonderful Wednesday.

6.9

Pleasant enough day yesterday taking stuff to the recycling centre then meeting a friend and seeing Ballet Central perform at the Linbury as part of New Generations Festival. It’s basically the graduate showcase for a number of world renowned ballet schools and it’s been blessed with a really talented pool of dancers.
Their program was significantly more contemporary than others I’ve seen in the festival and it stood out for all the right reasons.

Had a mooch around town afterwards, staying in the shade, bought some new trainers, plain white and very restrained for me but they are to be worn with my huge statement kaftan.

Booked a bunch of tickets for future shows and art exhibitions and got to fretting about the 48hr heart monitor thing I’m being fitted with this morning. I’d be lying if I said I’m anxious about what might be wrong. I’m finding myself running out of energy significantly earlier than I used to, and I often have a tightness and discomfort across my chest. Part of me is thinking angina and another part thinks it’s anxiety related. But it’s clearly to do with exertion so I can rule that out. My practical head wonders what impact this medical investigation will have on travel insurance premiums.

I’m also ruminating on what I can and can’t do whilst the monitor is attached. Can I exercise? To what degree? Can I shower? Will it be comfortable? What about sleeping? Sex? And will they be shaving my chest?

They will definitely shave your chest if you’re very hirsute! Mr Eggy has had them a few times. Just carry on as normal, exercise etc, I think you can unplug it before your shower. It’ll be “awkward” doing the horizontal Hokey Cokey, just abstain! o_O
More than anything TRY not to worry, easier said than done, I know. If it is angina, it’s treatable, Mr Eggy had it before his last procedure, you’ll get a spray, a quick two squirts under your tongue, it can give you a headache, and you’ll be as right as rain. If there’s one thing the NHS are good at it’s hearts. Mr Eggy has had six heart attacks, quad bypass, ablation and what seems like miles of stents, he’s 65 on Sunday and he’s going up a ladder today! <3 Fingers crossed it’s nothing serious.xx

I did comment to a friend that it can’t be angina as I’m far too young for that. He lowered his specs, peered over the top of them and reminded me that it’s physical age not mental age that counts. The sod

@ColinUK I just had a wipe around it with a damp cloth sitting in the bath & it’s only for 2 days! I was also, told to keep an activity log & note down times, from the monitor & not my watch, of exertion. I went up & back down on buses to Antrim to get it fitted & taken off & just wrote down the times my heart was racing getting the buses! I had it fitted once in late 2015: I forgot to tell them I have apnoea as after my nose op in the 90’s it’s not constant & only have it when I’m unwell; they noticed it on the overnight traces & asked me about it!

I was younger than you & your friend was a bit mean BUT, he made you laugh? I’m going by your emoji? Thank goodness, no judgement by the Cardiac team at The Antrim Area Hospital!
