Yes I drink lots mainly water or soda water...no sweet additives, I use lime and lemon.. cucumber slices mint etc...
Good to drink a lot for kidneys. Start the day with black tea or coffee have my first one with il at 12 am and the last at 7pm...do my eating between these times. On metformin. Apple, celery walnuts and grated cheese for lunch to apple wilt two slices of cheese. Dinner salad and something or a fry up of all the good things or a stir fry... no carbs or sugar.
Love a tomato and mozzarella salad ! Lots of Mediterranean food... but I am a veggie. Weight is dropping off. i keep it simple and keep it fresh and with as much fibre as possible. Don't focus on missing out was a real bread and pastry and pasta girl...but Diabetes has scared me. There are some brilliant audio books that actually explain how your body works and once I understood that I got the diet and what to do... currently listening to "fast like a girl" also listened to Roy Taylors book.
