Wordle - Quordle Thread

Pretty mediocre result (3+22+61=86) here. Too many pitfalls to do any better…

Failed Octordle! Started off too well, and ended up not having eliminated enough letters on the way through, and having too much choice and not enough lives for the last couple of words.

I consider that I am now slowly becoming bilingual as a result of the Wordles ie both English and American :confused:
I almost don't notice the US spellings anymore. Just hope they don't start creeping into my written word.
 
Have not totalised yet but as @Rob Oldfield says a few strange words and many multiple choice solutions! Started Octordle well but as per my previous comment! :(

Total Score 87! I suspect I will be beaten for the Spoon of Wood! :rofl:
 
Pretty poor result here too (5+24+71=100). Partly as a result of being distracted by stubborn reluctance of a new Dexcom sensor to accept calibration. I think/hope it’s settled down now :thankyou:

Going to buck the trend of increasing scores today and let @littlevoice359 look after my wooden spoon. Not a great result but not too bad by the look of things...

Gives me 86

Gives me a total of 84

Hopefully I remembered correctly and the Weekly Challenge word is BROKE.
It gave me 5 7 6 4 = 22
 
Very pedestrian on the regulars, including having 4 greens in the second row in Wordle and taking all the next 4 goes to get the correct last letter (no sacrificial goes for me, we play it in hard mode as a family)

Total 96

Had inspiration on the Weekly, though,
5,6,7,3 = 21
 
Put them away after an average Wordle and "to the wire" with Quordle. Definitely did better after a break and with a useful second word in the Weekly really demonstrating how luck plays a major part!

Another tricky batch today I think. A 5 on Wordle, then a good start on Quordle before running into lots of options and ending with a 7, 9, 2, 4 for 22. Octordle happy to come out with a 57 for a total of 84.
 
Had a lucky punt and got Wordle in 3! However, cannot switch out of Weekly Challenge (Android 14). Must press on.
