Wordle - Quordle Thread

Reasonably good start to the week for me all round...

Wordle in 3
Quordle 6 7 3 8 = 24
Octordle for 56

Gives me a reasonable 83

Followed by the Weekly PAINS which wasn't so painful for me with 7 3 5 4 = 19
 
Bad start to the week. Failed Wordle, which hasn’t happened for ages. Then had pedestrian scores on all the others, especially the weekly.
Quordle in 8,6,4,7 = 25
Octordle in 68

Weekly challenge with PAINS 8,9,6,4 = 27
 
Poor result here, with a grand total of 92 (5,19,68). Weekly challenge in 20.

Weekly was a bit ugly. Correct words on rows 3 and 4 but leaving me one word with 3 possible letters in a single place, and one with 5 possible letters in a single place - and no crossover between the two. Finally snuck in under the wire with 7, 9, 3, 4 for 23.

I did finish them all in daylight but then forgot to post. Wordle was averagely poor, both Quordles went to the wire but I redeemed myself on Octordle where I scored om Guesses 2 and 3 but then slightly lost my way.

Total Score 89
 
Looks like it is my choice for the weekly challenge next week then! Putting my thinking cap on now and will let you know in due course.

So far we are all pretty close this morning but I had a bit of luck on Octordle. My starter word gave me enough to get a word with my second guess, admittedly with a lot of head scratching and then I got to the end and had 3 lives and 3 options for the last word and chose correctly first time.

Gives me little enough to just sneak ahead of @Robin with an 81

Where will I be? Just starting Octordle - need a really good score to het 80.5 or less!
 
Pretty lucky here this morning. Grand total of 73 (3,16,54).

Started well on Octordle but then missed a few times! So todays results are:

Wordle in 4
Quordle in 8 for 24 (6, 7, 8, 3)
Wordle in 12 for 60

Total Score 88 (telephone code for Belgium as been told not to say "Two......." :rofl: )
 
Finished the Wordles while waiting for transport. Hope it is not another "no show" like Tuesday morning. They now have two official complaints from me as I could not be asked to report the other two including being an hour late for the for the Foot Clinic. Surprisingly reasonable result as only half concentrating!

Total Score 85!
 
Struggled through all 3 but with a life to spare in each....
