Started with a 4 on Wordle, then a 7, 3, 5, 4 for 19 on Quordle, but a 59 on Octordle leaves me trailing @rebrascora with a total of 82.

I have just gone back to double check my Octordle score because I started to think that perhaps I had misreported it, when Rob was trailing me (that surely can't be right!)..... but, yes I got 52, helped by a 2 when my starter word gave me 2 yellow and a green which only had one option.... or at least I think it did!

Failed Octordle! Started off too well, then made a couple of rash guesses that turned out to be wrong in the middle, and ran out of lives.

Still being a bit groggy after a very bad night I took Wordle to the wire and decided to put the others aside for a few hours. Best I can say is I finished them all with a very average performance!

Octordle in 12 for 62 (fortunately by Guess 12 it was a 50/50 choice and I saved a point by going the right way for a change)

Total; Score 89!

Started well, but then hit a wall. 3 for Wordle and 4, 3, 6, 5 for 18 on Quordle but early definite words on Octordle turned out to be not that definite after all. Ended with a 65 for a total of 86.

Had a really great start with Wordle and pretty good Quordle but then bombed out at the end of Octordle despite starting with a 2 and getting what I would consider to be all the tricky words. 😡

My choice for the starter for the Weekly Challenge is PAINS (verb).

It PAINS me to say that after taking Quordle to the wire I did so with the Weekly Challenge. Think I will. leave Octordle till daylight!
