Wordle - Quordle Thread

Just finished as about to start physiotherapy. Thin they were a difficult set - or was I just not concentrating?

Octordle to the wire for 74

Total Score 104! Snatching the Spoon of Wood from @rebrascora with an extra "no-ball"!
 
Despite eff'ing Phantom Pain better than of late although a slight struggle with Octordle (an usual word or two).

Total Score 85!

Sneaks me just ahead of @Robin with 88
 
I was going for a cricket score from the start....

Wordle was hit for a 6 to start my innings
Quordle 7 4 8 5 = 24
Octordle down to the wire for 71

Takes me just over the century for a fine innings of 101 not out.

Maybe we should turn the wooden spoon into an "Ashes" trophy
 
Was lucky on Octordle, as not getting anywhere after first two goes, put in a third 'usual starter' word which turned out to be correct!

Nearly gave Rob a run for his money, but Wordle let me down...

I think the weekly challenge last week may have been a tie between myself and Mikey. If so, I propose DIMLY since the days have been very dim recently.... and so have I! o_O Quite happy to be overruled though..... just trying to get us out of having to use an obscure Mikey word. :confused:

Fine by me as it will not accept MIKEY and the only word I can think of after a day of Phantom Pain is PAINS. I used to want to think of myself as a younger version of Mick Jagger but with all the painkillers it more of a Keef Richards! :rofl:
 
Starting the ball rolling for this week.... and it started slowly but got better as I went on...

Octordle for 52

Giving me a total of 79

Then the weekly challenge with DIMLY gave me 3 5 8 4 = 20
