Wordle - Quordle Thread

Wordle in 4
Quordle in 6,7,4,5 = 22
So far so good..
Failed Octordle, got bogged down in the middle after diving in with a dead cert that turned out not to be.
Weekly challenge. Scraped through after missing a correctly guessed letter further back on one of the words.6,4,8,9 = 27

Quordle 7 8 2 6 = 23
Octordle for 67

Gives me 94

and then 4 6 5 7 on the Weekly Challenge with CRYPT for 22
 
Done before bed today....

Wordle in 5
Quordle 7 4 5 3 = 19
Octordle for 56

Gives me a grand total of 80
 
Middling result here also (3+26+56=85).

Very mediocre for me today....

Octordle for 60

Gives me a total of 85
 
If that’s mediocre, @rebrascora , mine is dire. I prefer to think of us both as 'slow and steady'

Thinking about @Peely66 querying how long it takes us all to do these while completely stuck for ages thinking of ANY word that fits on row 3 of Wordle and row 9 of Octordle. I might be some time.

I almost always find that walking away and coming back even just 5 or 10 mins later resolves the impasse and you can look at it with new eyes and wonder why you couldn't see what was so obvious..
 
Did Wordle and Quordle before I left and Octordle after Podiatry whilst I wait again for transport.

Quordle to the wire for 26 (9, 3, 8, 6)
Octordle in 12 for 60

Total Score 89!

Indeed. But when I posted before I'd already done that a couple of times!

Wordle eventually got there when I figured out the correct word 3. Except it wasn't right so had to look further for a second one that I hadn't twigged in the first place. That one was quicker though so ended with a 4.

Quordle a 6, 3, 8, 5 for 22, and figuring out the 9th word on Octordle let me end with a 52. All in all, a total of 78.
 
Better luck today. Grand total of 77 (3,24,50).

Downright abysmal from me today, but at least I scraped through....

Gives me 102
 
Not quite as lucky as yesterday. Grand total of 85 (3,24,58).
