Welcome to the group.....I was surprised doctor did not go on about diet or changing my diet.
There is a strong genetic component, many of us have D in the family. Personally I had led a fairly good life & ate well, a little overweight but certainly not obese.not down to a bad diet but more of a long term thing.
I have heard lots of different names for the courses but Juggle is a new one to me.Welcome!
Did you have a full diabetic review? I was diagnosed in Jan and had to wait 2 weeks for mine but they didnt start me on meds til then. They gave me loads of info leaflets and discussed my diet and exercise.
They also offered me a structered educational programme, mines called Juggle but I think every area has a different name. Ive not started yet butbIbe heard good reviews and luckily I get paid time off work to attend as its 1 afternoon for 4 weeks!
