I used to get blurriness when my BG levels were high (changes in osmotic pressure distorting the lenses) and newly diagnosed people with blurry vision are often recommended to wait a while for their eyes to settle before getting glasses.
Hopefully it will just be temporary and will begin to clear up in time, but do get checked by an optician of mention it to your GP or nurse to be on the safe side - members here can only comment on their own experience, and some of the potential eye changes from rapid BG improvement do need checking out.
