Update on tummy troubles

Oh dear so sorry to hear your devastating news, hopefully something can be done to give some optimism for the future.
Keep us posted when you feel able, we are all here to support you.
 
That’s so awful @Vonny As said, words can’t adequately express my sympathy. Every time I try to write something it sounds wrong or not nearly enough. All I can send you is my love and my hopes that there’ll be something helpful the Sheffield team can recommend to make things easier for you.

So very sad to hear @Vonny - I don't know what to say other than I can 100% be certain that everyone here is rooting for you and all our love and best wishes are with you at such a difficult time - hopefully the treatment they can give after the scan will do the trick

Terrible news @Vonny I can't begin to imagine how you are feeling. Sending my best wishes and hope that NHS can offer alternative treatment if surgery is not an option. Life really is so unfair :(:care:
 
It's the cruelest of news to receive @Vonny and you have every reason and right to feel angry. All your virtual friends here in this community are rooting for you. We're here when you need us. :care:<3
 
Vonny I can’t find the right words to express how sorry I am to hear about your news and can’t imagine how devastated and angry you will be feeling.
I am just so sorry and wish there was some comfort we could offer you on this forum that would take this awful situation away.
Wishing you all the best under the very difficult circumstances and just feel helpless in not being able to offer you anything more tangible other than our ongoing support.
 
Oh Vonny! I am just devastated for you! Life is so incredibly unfair sometimes! You have been such an inspiration to people here with your massive weight loss and positive outlook, I really hope that those things enable you to live whatever life you have left, to the full and I hope the medical profession are able to extend that as long as possible with minimal side effects. Sending love and (((HUGS))) and positive vibes your way!
 
@Vonny I'm still quite new so don't really know you but from the start of my membership found what you had written on your bio inspiring. Of course I responded when you received difficult news. Knowing what to say now is challenging but I would prefer to possibly get the tone wrong than ignore the latest twist in your situation. The King mentioned the inspiration of Deborah James recently. We all react differently when life has its problems but you are lucky with your friends and colleagues in the health service. I hope you can get some joy every day and know everyone here will be metaphorically hugging you.

Do keep your forum family posted with how things are going. Have you got folks around you to offer practical help and support?

Just like to echo what others have said. As you can see, there's a lot of love for you here on the Forum and I hope you can take some comfort from that.

I do know Sheffield cancer services at Weston Park are amazing, which is where I'm assuming your results have been sent so you will get the best advice. Take all the support offered to you and take care xxx

Oh Vonny, not too sure what to say except please stay with the forum and drop in whenever you feel like it, for whatever reason.. rant, moan , whatever.
