Update on tummy troubles

Vonny, I'm so sad to read you'll update.

I hope you have some amazing real life support - the sort that will allow you to rant or rest or simply be. I also hope that, although it's not a diabetes issue, this forum will continue to be a source of support and care too.

Got called for a CT scan the day after my ultrasound! Had the results this afternoon. Sadly I appear to have inoperable cancer of the gall bladder. They are referring me for an MRI scan and biopsies, and have sent the CT results to the specialist team in Sheffield before any treatment and prognosis can be given.
Part of me feels really angry that this has happened the day after I became a pensioner, and after I've worked so hard on my diabetes. In addition to working hard my entire life, paying my taxes and NI and will end up not getting my pension for very long. The other half thinks "que sera sera", we must all go some time.
So, depending on health, I may not continue on this forum for very long, in which case I thank you all for your amazing support during the last 5 years battling diabetes xx
Thinking of you Vonny and sending you love and strength x
