It sounds like you may be being misled by the 'high fat=higher cholesterol' myth William. In fact, carbs can be a bigger contributor to cholesterol and triglyceride levels than fat, and a lower carb diet can improve levels of 'good' HDL cholesterol:@Mark Parrott - Hello.🙂. Yes, the LCHF Diet is very good, and I see no reason why you shouldn't lower your HBA1C - I don't follow it because I want/need to keep my Cholesterol at 3.4. It's quite a shock when you get the diagnoses of Diabetes (unless you expected it as in my case) just take each and every day as it comes, and try not to overload your mind at taking in to much information at once.
