Tony went to the Doctors today, until I joined this forum we didn't know about the HbA1c, he has had regular blood tests since being diagnosed last November, and the Doctor has always said he was very pleased with his blood results, anyway, I asked Tony to ask about his HbA1c results and apparently they are usually 6 something, but this recent one was 8.5
The Doctor says it's because of the other issues he has at the moment, really bad Sciatica, his feet are swollen, due to water retention from not being able to move about as much as normal, also his cholesterol is raised. But on a positive note his blood pressure is down.
Oh nearly forgot to say he has low Potassium too, no wonder he feels awful at the moment
