Didn't see this, but will deffo catch up on-line or with Sat's repeat.
A friend of my parents, who had been T1 for many years, had a severe hypo whilst they were walking out one evening after a meal. He said he was feeling low, but insisted that he'd be alright until they returned to the hotel. A few minutes later, he virtually collapsed on to a bench. In the end my mum got quite cross with the chap and his wife and demanded that they ring 999, as he was now drifting in and out of consciousness, despite having taken some gluco-tabs. When the paramedics arrived, they tested blood then immediately injected. It took him another 30 mins to come round. It was quite a scary episode for all present and resulted in extreme interrogation of me by my mum, when I saw her next, about what emergency reserves I keep on me.
