Poor Dave , i know that confused feeling oh so well as i guess many of you do too , i wonder if Dave suffers with hypo unawareness too ?
 
Wow- I just watched that (thanks for the link!). Poor guy was in a very very bad way,bless him.

In terms of the biscuit, it was given after hypostop and glucagon, he was still conscious so I didnt feel it was that bad at all.

My heart went out to the guy. Impressive the bike paramedic was on scene in 2 mins of the 999 call.

Graham'sMum #15 - Instructions for health professionals to administer intramuscular injections may be different to instructions given to non-health-professionals. The outer aspect of upper thigh is the safest site - large muscle with no large nerves or blood vessels nearby. It's the site instructed for soldiers to administer morphine for example. A paramedic who gives injections daily would be competent to give IM injections into other sites such as upper arm or buttocks.
