When they test to see if I’ve got poly neuropathy. I’m assuming that the results will be normal, but still worried. Drinking more than I should this evening to deal with it.

Fingers crossed for you Amanda that all goes well with your test tomorrow

Sending (((HUGS))) and very best wishes to you Amanda. X

Thinking of you today Amanda.

Hope the investigations go OK @AJLang - and that the results are reassuring and helpful.

Thank you everyone. Unfortunately I’ve had bad news today. I was tested for poly neuropathy due to a number of symptoms. They did the nerve conduction tests on my lower legs and feet. Neuropathy was confirmed in all areas tested and the neuro physiologist said it had probably been there for a while. It is progressive, will almost certainly spread through my body and there are symptoms that it has already started doing that. I will have the head, neck and lower back MRI’s in January.

Hugs and love to you my darling you can come thou this you are a strong person and i believe in you xxxxx

Send hugs to you, you seem to have more than your fair share of complications

So sorry to hear this Amanda, and I know that you and your partner have weathered many storms recently and come out fighting, as you will again. Love and hugs to you.

My heart goes out to you Amanda. Is there any treatment that will help with the symptoms and slow the progression?

I’m so sorry I hear that. Is there anything they can do to mitigate symptoms?

Another "Harumph!" moment Amanda. However I note that 'glorified' Tens devices can be used, some even with implanted sensors to try and relieve pain and to keep the affected parts/organs functional for as long as poss. Good luck with it again. {{{Hugs}}}
