Remember the soup dragon in the Clangers?
I eat or drink (depending on your point of view
) lots of soup. It suits my weird constitution. I need to bolus for food at least 30 minutes before eating, sometimes up to 90 minutes😱. As you can imagine this is not always easy, especially for me on Wed evenings when I come home late from a day of running my pottery classes. I want something quick and low carb.
New Covent Garden Skinny Goan Spiced Chicken and Lentils - seems to be the answer for me. Three times now (consistency 😱🙂) I've consumed the whole pack (piggy I know,but...😛) about 5 minutes after bolusing and my bg has risen slowly and very little. I think I may become addicted.
Sadly not all lentils seem to have this effect. M & S spicy lentil sends me into the stratosphere😱
