I make my own yogurt from skim milk.
I have always added a bit of this or that into it, flax seed, sliced almonds, raisins, and a little of whatever takes my fancy, (usually a fresh fruit- apple, or plum &c.)
Then I dump the whole thing onto porridge oats (don't tell my neighbours, I would be hung at dawn!) that have been soaked with water from the kettle.
So I have stopped add-ons any dried or fresh fruit and just counting it as milk. Does that sound right? My post meal test always jumps up at least by 2, and the porridge is a very small amount. 20g dry.
What do you think?
