I have the same problem,
@mudmonster as my feet are straight along the inner edge and flare slightly on the outer, so shoes which are rounded at the toe end are agony - Clarks were usually good until they decided to change the shape to suit those with the longest toe in the middle of their foot.
I am lucky that I am light on my feet and had the good fortune to be able to buy any shoes I found that would fit me, so I have not needed to buy shoes for a very long time. I can only advise that if you find some which are comfortable then buy a couple of pairs and wear them alternately as that can, apparently, extend their life.
You might have to be careful though, I once went a whole day wearing one black and one brown sandal after a very early start and dressing in the dim light of dawn.
