Just a heads up and thanks for all the welcome and great advice since joining as a newbie some thirteen weeks ago. I had my eye test and first annual test last Thurs and I am waiting for a consultation call from the GP next week.

I have been keeping my BG in the 5.7 average for the day and the waking reading is now down to mid 6's. So I await any figures from the quack.

On the up side I can still feel my feet toes and fingers!

Had a shock on the scales. My last weight wad 112kg in Jan when I went to the doctor for something unrelated. On Thurs it was 92.5kg. I discover I have lost five inches on the waist and can see from the " bits" south again!

Thanks again you are all stars!
