Hi, my partner ws diagnosed with type 2 a couple of years ago and is lucky that it was caught early, he treats with tablets and all health checks he says are good. He has naturally low blood pressure but continues to eat a high fat, salt and sugar diet and doesn't try to lose weight any more. He also doesnt get any regular exercise so I don't think he's looking after himself or trying to reverse the condition when he quite easily could. This makes me sad and cross. Initially at diagnosis he was worried and took it seriously but now the only change he's made is diet drinks and a sugar substitute on porridge in the morning. Should I be worried or can he eat what he wants whenever he wants without worrying because he takes the tablets and has low bp?
