Any cause for concern?
I've had T1 for almost 20yrs, MDI and am DAFNE trained, so do all my dose adjusting etc. Last hba1c 6.8%.
Had a very short-lived 6 hr vomitting bug last Tuesday, and since I've been eating properly again I've had several massive hypos - at three different points on Fri and Sat, I was in the low 2s for over an hour, and really struggled to raise my BG at all. A whole bottle of lucozade finally did the job, but only after usual things (200ml OJ, repeated after 20mins) made no difference.
I've since reduced both my lantus doses, but does anyone have any words on whether there's cause for concern? (I know the short idea is ask my DSN, and I will when I see her next week, but just interested!)
