Hi,
Type 2. Was 16 stone now 12lb lighter and walking 30 to 40 miles a week and using a continuous glucose monitor. Generally I only spike at breakfast for say 30 minutes and then the rest of the day I am within the 4 to 8 reading - assuming the monitor works correctly. If I can reduce the breakfast and not spike is this OK? I have my first blood test at the doctors at the end of April and was hoping that my reading would be down from 55mmols to under 47.
I was hoping to lose the 34lbs per "Roy Taylor" but my weight isn't coming off so quickly now I am back to 3 meals a day. No alcohol, potatoes, pasta or anything naughty! The plan was to eat 1250 calories and walk off 400 to get the requisite 850 calories but its not quite working! Next step is intermittent fasting and just having two meals.
Anyone know what works?
