Hello folks!
I'm begining to wonder if I now need the morning dose of my levemir. This is because ofthe past few weeks I've been steadily reducing it yet I've still be dropping down to hypos between 11am and midday. Is this a sign that I might not be needing it? This comes after finally cracking my night time levemir dose which it seems I was getting far too much of. That came down from 32 at the end of April/May to 24 at the moment. This means that pretty much every morning blood sugar I have is spot on bar one or two. My morning levemir dose is five right now. This has however, been steadily reduced over the past few weeks to its current level from twelve units. I'm going to cut it to three tomorrow to see how things go. If I can see that I'm stopping dropping to border line hypo at the times I've said would I then need to carry on with this injection?
Thanks,
Tom H
