Gill said she wouldn’t be having the sauce so no need to worry about the ingredients of those.@Lucyr - you are describing the Salmon Tikka which as you say, seems most unlikely to have carbs. Personally I have never heard of 'shashlic' anything so clueless what it means in terms of recipe. Ah - it apparently means 'skewered', ie a traditional kebab. A BBC recipe included 2 dips with it - sour cream and plum. So - much more what is served with, to accompany, the shashlic, rather than the shashlic itself - so you'd have to ask the Takeaway what they serve/what people usually have, with it.
The shashlik I have ever had is a sizzling dish and has no actual sauce with it, you may be given a yogurt dip with it.Shashlic is cubes of meat or in this case salmon. I'm guessing that the carbs will be just in the sauce which I wouldn’t be having
So would you think there are any carbs in it?The shashlik I have ever had is a sizzling dish and has no actual sauce with it, you may be given a yogurt dip with it.
It will be very few I should think but probably not zero, it will depend on what the exact mix is for the marinade. So would you think there are any carbs in it?
