Retinopathy

Here in North East I have 2 year eye check and foot check Type 1
You go to 2 yearly screening if you have been all clear for the previous couple of years I believe. If you get a background retinopathy (R1) or worse then you will revert to yearly screening or more frequent still if more serious damage is discovered. I think there is a national move to 2 yearly screening (NICE guidance) for those who get the all clear, so not just here in the north east.
