Hi,
I've just phoned my surgery to ask for my HbA1c results and been told that they are 60.0. I've converted this to the old measurement and I think this would be about 7.6%.
I'm not seeing my DSN until October now and wondered what the HbA1c should be? How much harder do I need to work and how much lower should they be? I think I read somewhere that they should be between 6.5% and 7.5% but just wanted to double check this.
I've only been taking my diabetes seriously since the beginning of August so if the above is correct then I'm extremely happy and know that I can definitely get my next results lower.
