Tuesday. I saw my GP today for the result of my HbA1c ~ which was 33
(5.1%) Over the moon!
My GP was overjoyed too and complimented my efforts of managing my Diabetes with diet control & exercise only and confirmed I am still in remission. She also provided me with a link for a low fat eating plan.
I'm ecstatic about my HbA1c result ever mindful that I was prescribed strong painkillers for bruised ribs following my collapse which was then followed by a chest infection that required a Course of Antibiotics. Also I had an awfully painful attack of Cellulitis (Not Cellulite) that lasted four months, when my left foot, ankle and leg swelled to the extreme up to my thigh and with a burning red rash ~ which necessitated a further Course of Antibiotics. I was unable to do any exercise during this time and ashamed to say I did a load of c**p comfort eating!!😱 All of which impacted my daily bgls. So I was more than surprised with my HbA1c result. Thus I gained weight which I've been addressing more recently. All in all, I'm a very happy bunny
